Flaxseed is another product from the super food list, i.e. extremely healthy food. In addition, it is very cheap, easy to prepare and allows you to fight many ailments faced by a man of the XNUMXst century. This oily product sold in the form of grains and ready-made, ground powder is a real bomb of benefits for which the body will thank us!
What form of linseed we choose to drink depends only on us. Although there are opinions on the web that “ready-made” – that is, immediately ground, purchased linseed – is not a good product, this is not true. Freshly ground grains simply have more of these good nutritional values, which does not mean that the bought ones do not have them at all – they have a little less. Also, the choice of the form in which you will consume flaxseed remains a matter of your personal preferences. It is important to drink flaxseed – no matter what version!
The composition of linseed, i.e. a list of good ingredients:
- Protein – easily digestible, with a good set of amino acids,
- Fiber – when you take in large amounts of it, you also need to drink a lot of water. Fiber regulates the bowel movement, improves metabolism and prevents constipation,
- Vitamins from group B – B1 improves the functioning of the immune system and improves concentration, B6 affects blood pressure, the functioning of the nervous system, heart function, supports the body’s immunity,
- Polyunsaturated fatty acids – lower bad cholesterol and regulate metabolism,
- Iron – is a component of hemoglobin, supports the nervous system, immunity and supports the fight against free radicals,
- Zinc – participates in the metabolism of fats, carbohydrates and proteins,
- Magnesium – has a calming effect, strengthens muscles, prevents circulatory and heart diseases, has a positive effect on memory.
Why and for what is it worth drinking flaxseed
The beneficial effect of this product on our body will be noticed very quickly. It is worth drinking flaxseed once or twice a day to quickly notice the positive effects. Use flaxseed if you want:
- Reduce the feeling of hunger, help the body lose weight – it is very filling, additionally it has a lot of fiber, thanks to which we can quickly lose weight (of course with simultaneous physical activity),
- Improve the appearance of your hair and nails – supports their growth. In addition, you can use a linseed mask for hair – 2-3 tablespoons of seeds pour a glass of water, boil, drain, apply to wet hair. The mask can be rinsed off after about half an hour.
- Improve intestinal peristalsis, prevent bloating, eliminate constipation – thanks to this, it makes the stomach seem flatter,
- Cure the stomach – prevents abdominal pain, it is often recommended as a protective measure when using tablets that may harm the stomach.
