The appearance of folliculitis is similar to acne, however, folliculitis requires a different approach to skin care.
Procedure:
- Cleanse your skin with a gentle, non-drying cleanser and warm water
- In the evenings, after using moisturizing care, in addition, you can use soothing and regenerating products.
- You should not use products for acne-prone skin – they are not suitable for skin with a problem such as folliculitis. During periods of exacerbations, mild and gentle cleansers should be preferred. Don’t exfoliate your skin
- During treatment and for at least a year after it, the skin must be especially carefully protected from UVA and UVB rays. Apply sunscreen SPF 50+ to all uncovered areas exposed to daylight
- Do not forget that clothing is the main protection against ultraviolet radiation.
The sun can lead to hyperpigmentation and exacerbation of folliculitis. It is strongly recommended not to sunbathe in a solarium under the influence of UV rays.
