Even some 20 years ago, they did not know about eyelash extensions. And 10 years ago, there was no alternative to classical building. Now lashmakers propose not only to add volume, density and the desired bend to their eyelashes, but also to give the eyes the desired shape: visually raise the lowered corners, level the problem of the hanging eyelid, open the eyes, correct too far or close-set eyes. Moreover, different types of extensions can radically change the look!
Types of effects from eyelash extensions
Some girls only need to build up the corners to make the look look more seductive. Nature has not rewarded others with its thick eyelashes, and they have to do a full extension, and still others like to experiment and are ready to try something new, for example, now fashionable eyelashes with the Kim Kardashian effect. But the most favorite options are with a squirrel, doll and fox look.
1. Squirrel effect
It was the squirrel tassels on the ears that inspired lashmakers to create this type of extension. With this technique, from the middle to the outer corners of the eyes, the cilia are lengthened, and the look becomes playful and sexy. Then, after the long ones, there are short cilia again. This slightly ragged effect makes the look light and charming.
With a squirrel-like extension, it is important to use the correct curves of the eyelashes, namely C and C +. These are medium curves, but more or less curled hairs can ruin the effect of the brushes.
Who is the squirrel build-up effect suitable for?
Girls with narrow eyes… The squirrel effect will “open up” your eyes and give the desired volume.
Girls with downcast eyes. Extension just visually raises the corners, eliminates the visible overhanging eyelid.
Girls with close-set eyesand. This type of extension will visually stretch the eyes to the temples, and the face will acquire symmetry.
2. Fox effect
In terms of frequency of use, this type of extension is on a par with the classic one, when artificial eyelashes are selected as similar as possible to natural ones in length, thickness and bend. This type of extension is characterized by a sharp lengthening of the hairs closer to the outer corners of the eyes. Visually, the fox effect creates the illusion of a drawn arrow, for which the ladies love this type of extension. However, it does not suit everyone: an experienced lashmaker must predict the result in advance and warn the client about whether the fox effect will suit him or spoil his eyes.
Who is the fox build-up effect suitable for?
Girls with close-set eyes. The fox build-up will visually place the eyes further apart.
Girls with round eyes. This effect will correct the look and give it an almond shape.
3. Puppet effect
With this option, artificial long cilia are built up throughout the upper eyelid, without affecting only the inner corners. It turns out a very open, wide open, slightly naive look, like a puppet. This type of build-up is contraindicated for girls with round eyes, as it will greatly emphasize them. But this effect looks great for photo shoots, since the eyes will be very expressive in the photo.
Who is and is not suitable for a puppet build-up effect?
Girls with far-set eyes. Due to the fact that the cilia start from the very beginning of the inner corner of the eye, visually the distance between the eyes is concealed.
Round-eyed girls, on the contrary, not worth doing a similar extension, as it will further emphasize the shape of the eyes.
