For the first time, two of the most spectacular sports, hockey and figure skating, have united in an ice show for the whole family “Fixies on Ice. Big game”. The premiere will take place in St. Petersburg during the school holidays: 27 и 28 October.
The main roles are Olympic medalist Irina Slutskaya and her 7-year-old daughter Varya. The directors are the legendary Tatiana Tarasova, who brought up a galaxy of Olympic champions and the choreographer of the leading Russian ice shows, Nikita Mikhailov. The colossal experience of the great coach and director of ice performances and the creativity of a young talented choreographer have come together in a creative symbiosis to create a new genre in the ice show industry.
New adventures of fixers will acquaint young spectators and their parents with the expressiveness of figure skating and the exciting drive of hockey, and their favorite characters will skate for the first time and prove themselves in the sports role of a friendly and hardworking team. Spectators will see large-scale video installations, colorful special effects, high-tech luminous costumes, spectacular assists and the most complex elements of figure skating from soloists of world ice shows.
DimDimych has an unusual hobby – hockey. Together with a team of fixes, he ends up in the Ice Palace. But something is wrong inside: there is no usual fuss, no one trains, the athletes have lost their team spirit and desire to become champions. They were replaced by robots devoid of feelings and emotions. And they are led by a mysterious coach – a professor in ice disciplines, confident that the future of sport belongs to robots.
To prove that robots will never compare in agility and skill with humans, a hockey match is appointed, the outcome of which will decide who will get the right to continue to engage in ice sports and play hockey in the Ice Palace. The stake is high – the “Big Game” begins. In the course of the development of the plot, the heroes diligently prepare for the tournament, overcome various difficulties and learn the subtleties of sports disciplines, and Varya and Irina Slutskiy help them in this.
