Five steps to smooth skin. Win with water cellulite

Water cellulite is a problem not only for people with fat, but also for completely slim people. The main cause of this unsightly problem is excess water in the body. This type of cellulite is easier to fight than fatty cellulite, but it requires the introduction of a proper diet, certain cosmetic treatments and preparations.

Where does water cellulite come from? It arises as a result of water retention in the connective tissue cells, resulting in impaired blood and lymph circulation. Then the fat cells gradually accumulate toxic substances and begin to enlarge. In this way, lumps and unevenness are formed, which are visible around the thighs, buttocks, and in heavier women even on the stomach, around the ankles, on the arms and calves. It happens that the lumps are quite painful to the touch.

The main reasons for the formation of this type of cellulite are:

  • Too much salt in the diet
  • inadequate nutrition,
  • Problem with blood circulation
  • Stimulants such as alcohol, caffeine or cigarettes,
  • Hormonal disorders.

It most often occurs in people who spend most of their time sitting or standing (e.g. at work), having little exercise, or crossing their legs, wearing tight clothing or high-heeled shoes. Sometimes it also appears as a result of the hormonal storm that occurs before menstruation.

Effective methods for water cellulite:

  1. Diet – first of all, you should reduce the intake of salt, the excess of which is a frequent cause of water retention in the body. To keep the taste of food, you need to replace salt with other spices, e.g. herbs – ginger, curry, marjoram, coriander, etc. You need to remove all salty snacks, fast food, cheese, cold meats from the menu, replacing them with nuts, seeds, fish, vegetables, sprouts , fruit.
  2. Body detox – stimulating blood circulation and metabolic processes is another effective way to get rid of cellulite. Therefore, introduce cleansing products into your menu – garlic and onion, which are classified as superfoods. You should also drink plenty of fluids, i.e. almost 2 liters of water a day. This counteracts the acidification of the body and cleanses. It is best to drink still, mineral water with the addition of lemon, as well as herbal teas and green tea.
  3. Physical activity – choose something you enjoy, because regularity is important. Running, aerobics, tennis are not recommended, but e.g. aqua aerobics, swimming, long walks, yoga, etc. They must not overload the circulatory system.
  4. Massages – in the shower, massage the skin with alternating showers of cold and warm water to improve circulation and firm the skin. Once a week, knead the skin with your fingers, rolling it, always upwards. This massage should last about an hour. In addition, you can try Chinese cupping massage (if you do not have varicose veins).
  5. Tablets and cosmetics – available in pharmacies, without a prescription, tablets that remove excess water from the body are support in the fight against cellulite. They also often contain substances that cleanse the body of toxins. It is also good to use scrubs (bought or prepared yourself) and anti-cellulite lotions.
