The name of the drink is inspired by an ancient Siberian legend about five taiga lakes. According to it, four magical lakes are located on the border of the Omsk and Novosibirsk regions and are publicly accessible, and the fifth lake is hidden, the path to it is unknown. But if someone manages to swim in four visible lakes in turn, and then find a hidden lake in the taiga and swim in it, then the lucky person will forever get rid of all ailments, gain wealth and be happy until the end of his days. They say that it was this legend that the Russian storyteller Pyotr Ershov used when creating his “Humpbacked Horse” .
And the silver-rich water from taiga lakes is successfully used by the manufacturer of this vodka. Connoisseurs even say that it is the magical properties of water that provided it with a mild taste.
