Fitur 2019: come to the 39th edition from January 23 to 27!

Like every year, the International Tourism Fair (FITUR) comes to IFEMA to present all its news.

From January 23 to 27, FITUR celebrates its 39th edition in Madrid. This industry-leading fair is loaded with news and will continue to be a center of attraction for professionals from all over the world.

Last year’s edition of the Fitur fair, obtained a record participation with more than 10.000 exhibiting companies from 165 countries and regions and this year it is expected to exceed these figures with the expansion of the exhibition area with the incorporation of pavilion 2 where the offer of Near East Destinations will be located.

Fitur 2019: what news does it bring?

Among the most outstanding novelties, as we have commented, this edition will expand the exhibition area with the incorporation of pavilion 2 that will feature Middle East Destinations. In this way, it is allowed to dedicate Hall 4 entirely to Europe. The rest of the continents and countries will retain their usual distribution.

Another novelty that FITUR incorporates due to the growing demand is the section dedicated to film tourism, an initiative promoted by Spain Film Commission (SFC), since more and more people are interested in the locations of their favorite series and films. Without a doubt, it is one of the strongest points of this new edition.

Likewise, the 2019 International Tourism Fair will focus on the specialization, reinforcing the section of FEATURES FEATURES, one of the promoters of tourism to which special attention should be paid.

The consolidated spaces of FITUR

In addition to the new incorporations of FITUR, the fair will have spaces already consolidated from other years and that have a large volume of business such as GAY FEATURES y SALUD FEATURES.

Likewise, the sections FITURTECHY y FITUR KNOW HOW, which are based on technology, will be essential for the growth of the tourism sector and this event will not ignore it.

Ultimately, sustainability, technology and specialization will be the main axes of FITUR 2019.
