Healthy lifestyle and fitness are now very firmly in fashion. And this is good! Everybody is training everywhere, on the streets by the evening there are more runners than ordinary passers-by, sports clubs are overcrowded, and in social networks, through one thing – selfies of fitness babies “at work”. It would seem that such an abundance of information is only beneficial – choose what you like and train. However, there is also a minus: the diversity of opinions confuses newcomers – it is not clear who to listen to, what to believe … Much is tested by trial and error, and this is time and often money. Let’s look at the main questions that arise at the beginning of the journey.
I will become like a man.
“Girls are entitled to dumbbells with a maximum of 3 kg, and everything from above will make me a huge man-like monster with protruding veins. I’d rather wave these more! ” As a person who has come to squats with a weight greater than his own body weight, I declare: weight will not make you a man!
He will make a beautiful ass for you, reduce the volume of the body, shape the silhouette, straighten the posture, embellish the arms, but not as a man! Checked! Of course, it is not necessary to reach critical values, it is rather a matter of taste and excitement, but in order to achieve fundamental results in building a dream figure, weighting is necessary.
Hours of cardio will give me a dream figure.
“All the same, I will not pull the pieces of iron – this is not feminine. I will walk for hours on the treadmill, and my legs will become slim, and my butt will turn into a nut! ” You may be able to lose weight, but the result will surprise you. Unless you expect to see just a thin flabby body. Do you want it to be beautiful? Personally, I really like long walks, preferably in the forest or park. They are pleasant, develop the respiratory and cardiovascular systems, but are not suitable for serious weight loss and restructuring of your body.
I need to dry myself.
Now everyone is drying, and you need it too? A colleague who had never been to the gym in her life asked me how she could start drying herself. Drying is a reduction in the percentage of subcutaneous fat and the removal of water from the body so that muscle relief is clearly visible. Accordingly, the muscles should be, otherwise what will you show? This stressful process for the body is needed mainly for performing bodybuilders. In the wake of fashion, many people mistake drying for a new diet, which is mistaken. Therefore, most likely, you do not need to dry yourself, but just adjust your diet. Give up fast food, other food junk and do regular workouts – and you will be happy!
You will have to keep counting calories.
“So you say ‘fix the food’, is that what, like an obsessive, I will calculate the daily consumption of KBZhU, eat by the hour and go everywhere with trays of homemade food?” Fanaticism is harmful in any of its manifestations. It is not at all necessary to decompose every piece eaten into molecules, but polishing dumplings with mayonnaise with chocolate cake is also superfluous. Find a sweet spot where you are full and your body is not getting better. And there is nothing wrong with taking home lunch with you to work, especially if the alternative is a business lunch in the nearest burger.
Sportpit is dangerous.
“I’m going to have to drink terrible mixtures and it’s all going to end with no idea.” I am not an adherent of sports nutrition and do not use it. However, if you choose quality manufacturers that have been on the market for a long time, there will be no harm from such products. Whether you need a sports food (and which one) or not, decide for yourself. The purpose of the products is very different: pre-workout complexes for increasing energy, protein and bcaa for gaining muscle mass, gainers for quick recovery.
Sports nutrition is designed to support the body, help cope with physical activity and accelerate athletic performance. But if professional athletes are limited by a diet, a strict regimen and need additional support, then the average trainee usually needs adequate nutrition and healthy sleep.
Do not confuse sports nutrition with pharmacological drugs.
This is where the danger really lies! Over the past couple of years, I have periodically heard from friends that coaches offer clients to “cheat”: “It’s okay, everything is under control.” However, remember that interference with the hormonal system can creep out to you in the future, oh what a side. Consider whether the dice are worth undermined health on the press? Also keep in mind that the retail trade of almost all anabolic steroids and steroids is prohibited by law and is subject to criminal liability.

During training, many hormonal processes take place in the body. Trying to reduce stress from vigorous exercise, the brain begins to produce increased amounts of endorphins, a hormone that causes euphoria and good mood. That is why, despite the fatigue, after the end of the class we are in a good mood. Who wouldn’t like this! Combined with the fact that the body gets used to receiving a regular load, such a hormonal surge gradually trains us to visit the gym on an ongoing basis in order to repeat the effect. Not a bad habit, what is already there! But remember: fanaticism is evil!
