Sport has a great effect on the human body. There is probably no more natural and safer sport for a woman than fitness. It consists of various types of exercises belonging to the group of recreational and sports gymnastics exercises.
Fitness: a bit of history
The history of fitness begins in the United States. It was also there that aerobics was created – a field that actually started the popularity of fitness itself. Aerobics was initially created as a sport that combines all exercises that improve fitness and health. It was supposed to be used by cosmonauts, who in this way were supposed to strengthen their bodies before traveling into space. Aerobic exercise was then studied in every possible way, and finally the creator of aerobics – Dr. Kenneth Cooper – brought popularity and recognition. However, fitness was popularized by Jane Fonda, a well-known actress who treated her injuries from the film set in this way.
Assumptions and basics of fitness
Fitness is primarily simple exercises, especially aerobic, where the respiratory and circulatory systems can work together without fatigue. The right amount of oxygen intake means that fitness does not tire very much, but it gives a constant “squeeze” to our muscles. It is a great form of exercise that shapes the figure and helps in slimming.
Fitness exercises are performed to rhythmic music, which makes exercise easier. Fitness trainings get boring very slowly, because they also use various types of exercise equipment. Training is always varied and full of new challenges and fast, energetic music that drives you to action.
What does fitness give us?
- It helps to lose weight, makes the figure fitter
- It helps to lose weight and burn unnecessary calories
- Increases muscle strength and endurance
- It increases our dexterity and flexibility of the body, making us more agile
- It improves mood and oxygenates the body, including the brain
Selection of fitness classes
Fitness affects different parts of the body. There are also different types of fitness training, each adapted to different effects. In order to practice what we care about the most – e.g. strength, agility or to help lose weight, you should choose the right type of training. Therefore, we divide fitness into one that includes strength, endurance, slimming classes and exercises or offers combined forms.
Strengthening exercises will allow you to increase muscle strength and sculpt them properly. In contrast, various stretching exercises increase overall agility and flexibility. Strengthening exercises additionally shape our figure and allow for efficient burning of excess fat, which helps in slimming.
There are also other forms of fitness, which include stretching exercises that help in many diseases, e.g. by increasing the mobility of the spine or strengthening weakened muscles.
Fitness, however, is primarily combined choreographic exercises: dance & sport in one. We recommend!
