Fitness exercises in pairs
Dancing together, mastering asanas or storming a climbing wall is useful not only for the body, but also for the soul – that is, for relationships in a couple.
Stretching
Stretching (from the English “stretching” – stretching) is a set of exercises and postures for stretching the muscles, ligaments and tendons of the whole body. To engage in this type of fitness is initially better in a pair than alone: in order to “pull” yourself, you need not only willpower, but also physical strength and weight. In stretching, delicacy and the ability to subtly feel the reaction of the partner’s body are very important. Qualities that are not useless for a couple, aren’t they?
Dancing
The tenderness of a waltz, the ardor of tango or the fervor of rock and roll: the main thing in dance is emotions, but plasticity and body control are no less important. In a pair dance, each of the two gets to know himself and his partner better, learns to overcome constraint and self-doubt, more clearly realizes the boundaries of his “I” and the depth of the common “we”. A nice bonus – improved coordination of movements, getting rid of excess calories and enthusiastic glances from friends at a party.
Rock climbing
You cling to the elusive protrusions with your fingertips, grope for a new stop, gradually climbing higher and higher. And behind the back – not emptiness, but he, prompting and supporting, encouraging in case of failure and rejoicing at the smallest victory – and at any moment ready to pull the safety rope all the way, not allowing him to fall. And then the roles will change, and already you will begin to look tensely at him from below, repeating “To the right, keep, look to the right.” A great way to learn to help and trust each other, well, and develop coordination of movements too.
Yoga
“Advanced” yogis say that the joint practice gives the two partners an incomparable experience of unity and allows you to achieve new states of consciousness. Even if it is not possible to push the boundaries of reality very widely from the first lessons together, you will definitely feel the pleasure of a pleasant variety of exercises. If you previously needed pads or special straps for some exercises, now you can help each other without these devices. Try to achieve unity during meditation together.
Doubles tennis and table tennis
Tennis is an intellectual game. She develops quick reaction and the ability to predict the opponent’s retaliatory attack in a split second. And paired tennis and table tennis teach you and your partner to play on the same court, to be a team, to understand each other’s intentions by a barely perceptible gesture, to literally read minds. Plus, it’s a great cardio workout that keeps all muscle groups in good shape.
Sex
Heart rate – like during aerobics, breathing rate – as if you are running up the stairs, calories burn like gunpowder – why is love making not fitness? It is available for two every day, besides, you can do without club passes, exercise equipment and new sneakers. The best fitness pose for her is the “rider pose”, for him it is “he is standing, she is in weight”, the possibilities, however, are not limited. And no other type of fitness will bring you closer together!
