Fish milk is a source of pure protein; in terms of their nutritional properties, they are in no way inferior to fish meat. But not everyone includes them in their menu, since they do not know the recipes for preparing delicious dishes from milk. In practice, cooking them is almost easier than the fish itself.
For preparation you will need: – 0,5 kg of milk; – 1 egg; – 2 tablespoons of sparkling mineral water; – 3 tablespoons of flour; – vegetable oil for frying; – salt to taste.
Before frying the milk, it must be defrosted. This is best done at room temperature. Thawed milk must be washed and dried on a paper towel. For batter, you need to beat eggs with mineral water, salt and flour. The consistency of the batter should resemble thick sour cream. If it is too liquid, it will drain before the milk is fried. Excessively thick batter will spoil the taste of the dish with its hardness. Milk is dipped in batter and laid out in a preheated pan with vegetable oil. There should be enough oil to bring it to the middle of the milk, then they will be deep-fried. After the batter is fried on one side, turn the milk over and cook until golden brown on the other side. The whole cooking procedure takes about 5-7 minutes, as the milk is thin enough and roasts quickly.
Instead of mineral water in batter, you can use ordinary water, but the presence of gas makes the dough more airy. If you want to achieve its juiciness, you can replace the water with a spoonful of sour cream.
This requires: – 0,5 kg of fish milk; – 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil; – dried dill and marjoram; – 1 teaspoon of soy sauce; – Grill pan.
A marinade is made from butter, soy sauce and herbs, in which defrosted milk is soaked for an hour. The purpose of the marinade is to make the milk more tender and flavorful, preventing it from drying out when frying. There is no need to salt the milk, as soy sauce successfully copes with this. Then you need to warm up the pan and fry the milk on both sides on it. There is no need to additionally grease the pan with oil. The milk is juicy and has beautiful transverse stripes on both sides.
These are not the only recipes that can be used to make delicious milk. If they are already bored with fried, you can use them for a salad. It requires: – 200 g of milk; – 2 eggs; – 1 fresh cucumber; – 1 head of onion; – 100 g of canned peas; – a few sprigs of dill; – 50 g of mayonnaise.
Milk is boiled until tender, which will take about a quarter of an hour, and cut into pieces. Eggs, onions and cucumbers are also chopped, mixed with milk and peas. It is preferable to use lettuce varieties of onions, as they have a less harsh taste. But if the onion is ordinary, you can soften it if you scald the already chopped one with boiling water. Before serving, the salad is dressed with mayonnaise. Chopped dill is used as decoration.
