Fine or awful? Groomer turns dogs into living paintings

The hairdresser paints his poodles in all colors of the rainbow, cuts them and decorates them with feathers. Says the pets don’t mind. Well, where to go?

Leslie Wildrep is 39 years old and she is a hairdresser. But not human, but canine – Leslie works as a groomer. Together with her pets, five poodles, she regularly participates in professional exhibitions. And from her undertakings, some are in admiration, and some are horrified – she is very creative in her approach to the question of dog haircuts.

Leslie’s dogs turn into scenes from the cartoon “Lady and the Tramp”, into tropical birds and polar bears, and in general they look like anything but ordinary poodles. After all, the hostess not only cuts them, she also paints them in very bright colors, decorates haircuts with feathers, and makes a perm.

“I love it when kids smile at my dogs,” says Leslie. – And my dogs like it all too. It is impossible to be creative with an ordinary dog, for this you need special dogs. “

According to Leslie, her Sterling, Remington, Secret, Regal and Rhyme are just that – special and creative. It takes Leslie about two hours to embody the next idea on a dog’s hair. Of course, not a single dog will endure such a process, because all this time you need to stand still and obediently put your sides under the brushes and scissors. Therefore, Leslie allows the dogs to jump around the hairdresser’s table, and when they get tired and fall asleep, she gets down to business.

She loves to show her skills to the world by participating in professional competitions. Leslie has won prizes more than once, showing her pets at exhibitions.

“Grooming is my life’s work, working with dogs is my passion,” says Leslie. “I only use non-toxic vegan paints in my work, so there is no harm to the dogs.”

How do you like Leslie’s creations?
