  • pregnancy;
  • neoplasms on the skin.

Composition

Usually, the composition of ferulic peeling also includes other components that enhance its effect: for example, resorcinol, salicylic acid, minerals, vitamins and other therapeutic components.

Effect of the procedure

Ferul peel, like other peels (eg, almond, glycolic, azelaic), in fact, renews the skin. Do not be afraid: peeling is not at all traumatic and not aggressive, it removes only the topmost layer of the skin, consisting of dead cells. The advantage of ferul peeling is that the active substances are enclosed in microscopic capsules (therefore, the procedure is also called nano-peeling): they penetrate perfectly into other layers of the skin, so the result is comparable to deeper peeling.

The procedure is very popular because it covers a wide range of functions. So, ferul peeling has both an anti-aging effect (eliminates fine wrinkles, fights pigmentation, starts the processes of skin renewal and rejuvenation), and a preventive one (improves complexion and gives the skin a fresh look, fights dark circles around the eyes).

Ferulic Acid Peel Protocol

  1. The first point: expert advice. Do not sign up for the procedure, and even more so do not do it yourself without consulting a specialist.
  2. If necessary, the specialist can recommend that you prepare the skin for the procedure at home using cosmetic products with fruit acids.
  3. Ideally, before the procedure, do a test for individual intolerance to ferulic acid. Usually it is carried out a day before peeling: the peeling mixture is applied to the bend of the elbow and the skin reaction is observed.
  4. Now we go directly to the procedure. To begin with, the specialist thoroughly cleanses the face and degreases the skin with a special lotion.
  5. Further, it is recommended to apply a protective agent along the contour of the lips and on other sensitive areas so as not to accidentally touch them during the procedure.
  6. Now the climax: the composition itself is applied to the skin and left on the skin, depending on individual needs. This usually takes no more than 15 minutes. The mixture is then washed off.
  7. At the end of the procedure, a soothing cream or mask is applied to the skin.
