Male infertility is becoming a more and more serious problem. There are regions in Poland where almost every second man struggles with it, we read in Rzeczpospolita.
Nearly 100 men, volunteers living in the region, were tested in the Gyncentrum Clinic in Katowice as part of the Healthy Dad social campaign. As many as 52 percent. of the respondents were found to be infertile.
For several years, we have been observing a growing percentage of men who have problems conceiving a child. But we did not expect such bad results. There is a real drama, Dr. Biol told the newspaper. Wojciech Sierka from the Infertility Treatment and Prenatal Diagnostics Clinic of the Gyncentrum Clinic.
It is estimated that in Poland every fifth couple has problems with conceiving a child.
