FeminellaVagiC – indications, dosage, contraindications, interactions, side effects

FeminellaVagiC is a preparation used to maintain and restore the physiological pH of the vagina. Vitamin C contained in the preparation allows for the enclosure of the vaginal ecosystem. The drug is used in women with recurrent vaginal infections, in the case of bacterial treatment of the vagina and after completion of antibiotic therapy. The preparation is available over the counter in the form of vaginal tablets.

FeminellaVagiC – indications and dosage

Maintaining and restoring the physiological pH of the vagina in the case of:

  1. women with recurrent and bacterial vaginal infections;
  2. preventing and curing bacterial vaginosis;
  3. completion of antibiotic therapy.

Dosage: vaginally, preferably in the evening before bedtime. 1 tablet / day for at least 6 days.

FeminellaVagiC – contraindications

Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients of the preparation is a contraindication to the use of FeminellaVagiC.

FeminellaVagiC – warnings

  1. Keep FeminellaVagiC out of the reach of children.
  2. FeminellaVagiC (vaginal preparation) must not be swallowed.
  3. Before using the drug during pregnancy or breastfeeding, consult your doctor.

FeminellaVagiC – interactions with other drugs

  1. Vitamin C may falsify certain laboratory tests (e.g., urine glucose, lactate dehydrogenase, transaminase, bilirubin).
  2. Ascorbic acid may reduce the effect of anticoagulants.

FeminellaVagiC – side effects

Rarely, itching or burning may occur during the use of FeminellaVagiC. In very rare cases, hypersensitivity to the preparation ingredients may occur; it is then recommended to discontinue use of the preparation and consult a physician.
