Winter is the time to pay special attention to the feet, toes and legs in general. We have to spend a lot of time in closed shoes, the skin does not breathe, so there may be problems with dryness or, conversely, sweating of the feet. Preventive care products will help maintain the balance and beauty of the skin. Together with orthopedic surgeon Evgenia Zaitseva, we have compiled a list of necessary products for foot care.
1.Moisturizer
With the beginning of the heating season, the air in the rooms becomes dry, and the skin reacts to it immediately. And if we remember the moisturizing hand cream, then the feet are often left without proper attention.
To maintain their beauty, make it a rule to use a moisturizer every night before bed. For strengthening and moisturizing, products with hyaluronic acid, biotin, keratin are perfect.
2.Nourishing cream
If the feeling of dryness persists even after regular use of a moisturizer, replace it with a nourishing one. As a rule, it is denser in texture and makes the skin softer.
For very dry skin, choose a cream that contains urea (no more than 15%). Means with a higher percentage of urea are already used in professional care and are applied pointwise to problem areas of the foot.
3.Warming lotion
There are people whose feet get cold even at +25, if they just opened the window in the room. And if it’s not about the harmfulness of a person who fundamentally does not like fresh air, then he clearly has some problems with blood vessels. In this case, warming lotion will help.
Often they don’t even know about such a remedy, but it can come in handy even if there are no problems with the vessels. If you are driving out of town and assume that you can get into a situation where there is a high risk of freezing a little, then lotion will help to avoid an uncomfortable state. Do not overdo it, use wisely and dosed.
4.Decongestant cream
Edema – not your problem? What about a whole evening spent in heels? Legs usually do not feel so comfortable: you want to change your shoes as soon as possible, right? And the reason for this is swelling.
Due to the uncomfortable position and impaired blood circulation, the legs swell at least a little, but swell. And special tools will help to cope with this problem faster.
Anti-edema creams tend to absorb quickly into the skin and do not leave a greasy residue. As for the area of uXNUMXbuXNUMXbuse, they are most often applied not only to the feet, but also to the shins.
The ointment has a tonic effect, strengthens the walls of veins and blood vessels, and if the composition contains menthol or eucalyptus, they will take on the role of antiseptics, and also eliminate heaviness in the legs.
5. Scrub
The scrub exfoliates dead skin particles, while nutrients make the skin softer. Choose a scrub with large granules, so that, among other things, during the application of the product, stimulation of blood vessels occurs and blood is dispersed. Do not get carried away, not the upper part of the foot, the skin is more sensitive, it is easy to damage it with strong impact.
6. Products with the addition of essential oils
When taking care of your skin, don’t forget to take care of your nails. Autumn-winter is the perfect time to visit a podiatrist. Avoid heavy gel coats if possible and let your nails rest. During this period, apply nourishing care products with essential oils in the composition to the nail plates.
You can pay attention to the tea tree oil component: it refreshes and works as a natural antiseptic. In its pure form, it is usually not used in care, only a drop is added to less concentrated products, so be careful.
