Feedback on the teacher’s work: how to write?
Kindergarten teachers are periodically certified for a higher category. They also participate in professional skill contests. In all these cases, the teacher must provide feedback on their work. The teacher usually asks the parents to write it.
As with so many things, you should start by gathering information. Every caring parent has his own opinion about the situation in the group. Find out how the teacher treats the kids, how well he communicates with the parents, whether moms and dads like to take their kids to this kindergarten. See how the group is designed, how comfortable the kids feel, whether they willingly go to kindergarten in general and to this teacher in particular. The teacher’s job is also to properly organize life in the group. He supervises the work of the nanny, ensures the fulfillment of the regime moments.
Even to a very good teacher, children do not always go willingly. Some babies may have a period of adaptation, there are also children for whom kindergarten is contraindicated in principle. Consider these circumstances
Get to know life in a group
Ask your teacher for permission to attend a class or even several. This is the main form of educational activity. Note whether the children are interested in the activity and if they understand what the adult wants from them. Every educator should periodically conduct open classes, to which parents are also invited. You may be offered to watch an open regime moment – do not refuse, this is also interesting and useful.
Feedback is not a characteristic
Despite the fact that the review has quite a lot in common with the characteristic, it is written in a more free form. Of course, the headmaster may have a sample and even a special form, especially if kindergarten teachers often participate in competitions. But it doesn’t matter, you can write a good review without any sample. Just describe what you think of the provider and their work. No cap is required. Step back a little from the top edge of the sheet and write the word “Review”. Step back a couple of centimeters and indicate what you are going to write about – “about the work of the teacher of such and such a group of such and such a kindergarten.” Enter the last name, first name and patronymic in the genitive case.
Tell us how long the teacher has been working with your child. Answer the questions: – what has your baby learned during this time; – whether he willingly goes to kindergarten; – how the teacher talks to children; – how is your group designed, is it comfortable for the kids there; – do not forget to indicate if the teacher works according to the author’s program; – evaluate the relationship between the teacher and the parents.
Find out the terms of the competition or qualification that requires feedback. If you need collective feedback, be sure to discuss your review with other parents. Maybe you need to clarify something. Type the final version on a computer and print. In this case, there are no strict requirements for formatting, but any document looks more convincing if it is printed in 14 point size, one and a half line spacing, justified. Sign the review, transcribe the signature, and date it.
