Biography of Fedor Dobronravov

The future artist was born in Taganrog on September 11, 1961. His father worked as a builder, and his mother worked at a bakery. In addition to her son, daughter Lyuba was growing up in the family. The boy was active and was fond of various sports. He liked basketball and volleyball, diving and boxing.

In the family, Fedya was called a creative person. From an early age, he took part in competitions and concerts with pleasure. The audience was delighted with his singing. As a child, Fedya had a high soprano and therefore in Taganrog he was invited to creative evenings on some official occasion.

At ten years old, the teenager was already known to almost all residents of the city. Singing and then thunderous applause gave him joy. The glory of a singer was prophesied to him, but the boy dreamed of becoming … a clown. And even enrolled in a circle of circus lovers of the House of Pioneers.

Fedya was used to performing on stage as a singer. Then he began to develop his own circus acts, which he demonstrated on the stage of the city park.

He took an active part in the performances of the circus dance group. For his circus career, Fedya attended various sports sections.

Feeling sufficiently prepared to achieve the intended goal, the young man, after graduating from school in 1979, went to the capital. There he applied to the admissions office of the circus school. The documents were accepted, but the next day he learned that those who had served in the army were allowed to take the exams.

In order not to waste time, our hero went to the military registration and enlistment office with a statement to call him into the army in the near future. From 1979 to 1981, Dobronravov served in the Airborne Forces in the town of Shamkhor of Azerbaijan. Demobilized with the rank of sergeant.

Personal life

Returning to his homeland, he made an offer to his classmate Irina, who worked as a teacher in a kindergarten. They had known each other since childhood. Parents supported the guy, and soon the wedding took place.

Fedor got a job as an assembly fitter at a factory and worked as a janitor in a kindergarten. In these difficult years, adjusting his life, he worked, sparing no effort. At the plant, he held the position of an adjuster of a filling machine. Parents could not get enough of, they raised a hardworking guy.

An old dream haunted the guy and he went to Moscow two more times, passed exams. But, given the huge number of applicants for one place, the competition did not pass, and returned.

Satyricon Theater

Dobronravov gave up his dream of becoming a circus performer and entered the Voronezh Institute of Arts. Together with fellow students, he created the Ruble student theater. After graduation, he and his family lived for two more years in Voronezh. Fedor performed at the Youth Theater. Here his fateful meeting awaited him.

In 1990, a troupe of the famous Satyricon theater, headed by Konstantin Raikin, came to Voronezh for a summer tour. Seeking talents like pearls, Raikin always visited local theaters where his troupe stayed. This time, he also did not change his rule and went to the Youth Theater.

Seeing Dobronravov, the master was amazed at his game and invited him to “Satyricon”. Fedor moved to the capital, but life here was expensive compared to provincial Voronezh and Taganrog. The first year, the novice actor earned money by washing the floors in the Tretyakov Gallery in the evenings, and spending the night in one of the dressing rooms.

The family already had two sons: Victor (1983) and Ivan (1989), so he sent all the money he earned to the family.

Since 1990, a real creative career began as an actor. Fedor worked at the Satyricon Theater until the end of 2003. Here he played many bright roles on the same stage with recognized stars. He gained invaluable experience, and his name was heard by theater-goers.

In 1993, Dobronravov made his film debut, where he played a small role in the film “Russian Ragtime”. Then the actor starred in comedies, dramas and even action films. He has more than 120 films and TV series on his account, where he played memorable roles.

Theater of Satire

In March 2004, at the invitation of A. Shirvindt, the actor moved to the Satire Theater. Dobronravov is not only one of the leading actors here, but was the director of two performances.

The actor does not focus on one role, he takes part in the dubbing of cartoons and dubbing of foreign films. He can be seen in the entreprise of his native theater, and he does not refuse to participate in performances of other metropolitan theaters.

In 2016, a production center was founded, which creates films, series and performances. The debut was the film “Once Upon a Time”, where Dobronravov played one of the main roles and acted as a producer, as well as the play “Freaks”, staged on stage in 2017.

In the spring of 2018, the actor suffered a stroke and underwent surgery. But a month later he played in the play “Where are we?” In the fall of 2019, the actor’s creative evening was held with a full house at the Moscow House of Music. Peace and mutual understanding reign in his family. Fedor and Irina already have three favorite granddaughters.

Ivan

Fame came to Ivan at the age of fourteen, when he starred in the film directed by Zvyagintsev “Return” (2003). The film was a success and received many awards around the world.
