Feast

“Feast” is a series of vodkas in the middle price segment. For a long time, drinks were produced by CJSC “Plant of varietal vodkas”. But now they are produced at an enterprise owned by Shuiskaya Vodka JSC.

Historical reference. In the 90s of the XX century in the Vologda region there were 4 large distilleries and several small workshops that produced tinctures. This meant that the market was occupied for a long time and reliably, it was not possible for a newcomer to break through here.

Therefore, founded in 1997, CJSC “Plant of varietal vodkas” was called by experts “Tunguska meteorite”. The enterprise, equipped with Italian equipment, began to produce high-quality vodka at an affordable price for most consumers. It is no wonder that in the very first year of its existence, the “Plant of varietal vodkas” occupied 10% of the Vologda alcohol market.

Feast is one of the first own brands of ZSV. The company entered into an agreement with the well-known marketing agency “Kachalov and Colleagues”. The creation of the Feast brand was preceded by consumer surveys, and prototype products were tested on focus groups.

Interestingly, during a blind tasting, the drink was invariably awarded 10 points, and when the tasters were shown the label – only 4. Standard thinking worked: because of the colorful label and the unsightly bottle, vodka seemed cheap. The new design was ordered by specialists from the Alt Vision Design studio. The result of the work was a respectable thick-walled bottle with clear edges and a convenient dispenser.

Initially, oatmeal infusion was added to Feast vodka, but over the course of several years, the company’s technologists created a whole line of original flavors. The pearls of the series are “Golden Lux Feast” and “Silver Lux Feast” with a special additive that prevents hangovers. The Feast brand has become a flagship brand: if in 1998 the company produced 50 decaliters, then in 000 it already produced 2000 decaliters of the drink.

Soon the brand “Feast” entered the federal level. In 2002, the plant supplied 5 deciliters of the drink per month to Moscow alone. After 000 years, the Feast Golden Lux vodka was awarded the gold medal of the All-Russian competition Best Vodka-6 in the Mid-Price Segment nomination. In 2008, the company passed the procedure for certification of products according to the international quality management standard ISO 2010:9001. By this time, the plant was already producing 2008 brands of vodka.

But a year later, the company’s license ended, and they could not renew it because of the amount of authorized capital that did not comply with the law. The owners of the company decided not to issue a license, but to stop the enterprise.

Since 2011 CJSC “Plant of varietal vodkas” has been engaged exclusively in the wholesale of alcohol. Vodka “Feast” is produced at the facilities of JSC “Shuyskaya Vodka”. For the manufacture of the drink, water from a 125-meter artesian well and alcohol of the Lux brand are used.

However, the changes did not benefit the brand. Juniper Feast and Cranberry Feast disappeared from sale, the production of Golden Lux Feast was suspended. Connoisseurs note that the taste of vodka has become less soft.

Types of vodka “Feast”

Fortress of all types of “Feast” – 40%. Sugar, glucose and fructose are added to drinks in small quantities, only to soften the taste.

On sale there are:

  • “Feast” – vodka with oatmeal infusion, vanilla and sugar;
  • “Feast Silver Lux” – vodka with rice infusion and fructose. The carbohydrate module “Alcolux” has been added to the drink, which reduces the toxicity of alcohol to the body and prevents a hangover;
  • “Feast Special Bread” – vodka with the aroma of wheat crackers, sugar and glucose;
  • “Brusnichnaya Feast” – vodka with “Cowberry” flavor, identical to natural, and fructose;
  • “Golden Lemon Feast” – vodka with lemon peel infusion and sugar.
