It took a year and a half to do it yourself. It turned out very cool!
Every girl is a princess at heart. And also a sorceress. And the fairy, of course. It’s great when parents understand this. And this little girl was very lucky – her dad not only understood that he was raising a fairy, but also supported this idea in her. The baby always wanted her to have her own magic tree, inside which you can sit and read books, sometimes climb branches or sit among the foliage. For most of her peers, such a dream remained a dream. But this girl’s dad is a hero.
A man under the nickname Redams shared the story of his feat on the social network Reddit. First of all, he is not at all a carpenter, not a joiner, not a master of furniture. He is a video game artist. For inspiration, he watched a couple of Disney films and got down to business. First, I drew that same magic tree. Then he made a layout. Then he began to translate the idea into reality: he welded a tree frame, wrapped it with a net, stretched it inside a wire for future illumination, built a trunk from a special concrete mixture, branches made of papier-mâché, painted, hung light bulbs and decorations … There are even bird nests in the crown – five pieces.
It sounds easy, but it took him a year and a half to complete everything! After all, dad even had to take courses for welders to cope with the task. And the money was worth a lot: during all this time, daddy spent more than four thousand dollars. With our money – about 275 thousand rubles.
The tree turned out – just a feast for the eyes. And so strong that three adults can sit in its branches, not just one little girl.
“It wasn’t easy, but I always kept my daughter’s photo in the bedroom. Her smile helped me to cope with difficult moments ”, – the father confesses.
Now that the work is finished, you can’t lure the happy owner of your own fabulous tree out of the room with any rolls.
“But I’m afraid of the moment when she turns 13 and she demands to remove all these baby things from the room,” smiles the baby’s dad.
