father’s daughters

Daughters of fathers who often take on traditionally “female” household chores are more likely to succeed in life*.

If a man does the dishes, irons and cleans the house, this encourages the girl to take a broader view of gender roles and more freely determine her own priorities. In addition, the behavior patterns learned in childhood also influence her choice of a life partner and help her build harmonious relationships in her own family. But it is important that the father sets an example in deeds, and not in words. Once again vacuuming, the father can influence the daughter more than if he talks about how bad the stereotypes are.
