The fat woman (Crassula), which is popularly called the “money tree”, was planted in the Zaporozhye Botanical Garden 15 years ago. The tree is in a succulent greenhouse and has now reached a height of 1,3 m. It has very delicate miniature white-pink inflorescences located along the edge of the leaves.
– This is a real miracle, in indoor conditions, the “money tree” does not bloom. This plant is from Africa, and in nature begins to bloom after the 10th year of life, – said the deputy director of the kindergarten botanical garden Irina Kiychenko.
The botanical garden experts have re-read a lot of legends about the “money tree”. So, if a “money tree” that grows at home has small leaves – this is for trifles, and if large – this is for large bills. To make all wishes come true
The botanical garden also has a “dollar tree” and a “euro tree”. Now everyone who cares for them is looking forward to their flowering.
