It happens that in the modern world we do not fully appreciate different parts of our body. We forget about them every day, we do not think about keeping them in good health, we want to get rid of them or reduce (or enlarge) at all costs. One such part of our body is adipose tissue, which is rather disrespectful. This is, in a sense, due to ignorance and ignorance of the organism that needs it. Adipose tissue consists of several layers and performs certain essential functions in our body. It cannot be completely eliminated, but it is possible to limit its excessive growth, which actually carries significant health risks. Exercise is a good way to do this, while medications and dietary supplements remain in difficult cases. It should be remembered that slimming at all costs will be disastrous for our health – moderation, stubbornness and a bit of basic knowledge are needed here.
Structure, function and norms of adipose tissue
We often hear that adipose tissue is a necessary reserve of the body that is used when other energy sources are not available. It is worth knowing that adipose tissue is divided into:
- white (also often called yellow, due to the actual color), the excess of which generates obesity. Its task is primarily to store energy, but also to protect internal organs against mechanical damage. It is responsible for the proper hormonal balance. It produces substances called adipocytes, which influence various metabolic processes in the body. They also regulate insulin sensitivity;
- brown tissue, which is made of smaller cells than white tissue. Thanks to it, it is possible to convert fat into energy – that is, burning white adipose tissue. Brown adipose tissue, appropriately stimulated to activity, helps to maintain a proper body weight. Too little of it can lead to diabetes and obesity, as the body cannot keep up with the conversion of fat into energy. Unfortunately, the amount of brown tissue decreases with age, although it can be prevented by living a healthy lifestyle. In addition, it is this part that has thermal insulation functions.
In adults, the norm of adipose tissue is below 20% of body weight for men and 30% for women. Above these values we speak of obesity – here it is recommended to reduce the fat content.

Fat tissue on the abdomen – in whom?
Before we even move on to specific methods related to fat reduction, it is worth mentioning a few differences that result from gender. In men, tissue most often accumulates on the abdomen, chest, neck, and also the face. It is assumed that if adipose tissue constitutes 15-20% of body weight, then everything is normal. In the case of women, this percentage is different, amounting to 20-25%. In women, fat accumulates mainly in the hips, buttocks and thighs, as well as around the arms and abdomen.

How to get rid of excess body fat?
A lack of body fat is as dangerous as an excess of it. In both cases, the energy economy and fat absorption are disturbed. There are also problems with sugar and diabetes at a later stage.
Therefore, we should talk not so much about fat loss, but rather about its proper regulation. This can be done in several ways:
- control the amount of food – gradually reduce the caloric content of meals, so that a caloric deficit arises, forcing the body to use the stored energy reserves;
- An appropriate diet will also affect the amount of adipose tissue: one of the fat burning boosters is capsaicin, which is present in hot peppers (however, be careful with its dosage). Phytosterols (contained in legumes) and polyphenols (contained in some fruits, e.g. citrus) are also useful, it is also worth adding cinnamon to the dishes, which supports fat burning (Cinnamon in sticks 50g and Ground cinnamon 50g you can buy at Medonet Market). Or you can try Pukka Three Cinnamon – cinnamon tea;
- exercise and exercise are an obvious way to shed body fat. It is best to stimulate brown adipose tissue through short and intense exercise that will allow us to burn calories for a long time after exercising. Of course, in this case, we must also take into account our general health, as some exercises may not be suitable for us (especially if we have other ailments).
At Medonet Market, you can order a set of dietary supplements for slimming Do! Fiber and Do! Under no circumstances should you completely eliminate fat from your diet – the regulation of adipose tissue is primarily about the interaction of both types and activation of brown tissue. Stopping eating fats won’t help, and it will lead to deficiencies that will eventually affect our health.
