1. We measure the length
Spring fashion is especially attentive to manicure. Excessively long nails are a thing of the past. Now it is customary to have short, neat marigolds. The maximum permissible length of the nail is no more than 1/3 of the nail plate.
Are your nails brittle? Start taking vitamin complexes with calcium and zinc, regularly do manicure with a strengthening base. Another method is quite simple: cut the lemon into two equal halves and stick your nails into the pulp. Keep them like this for about 20 minutes. The procedure will strengthen the nails and make them beautiful. Soak your nails in lemon as needed, on average once a week is enough.
2. Choosing a shape
Whatever the shocking couturiers come up with, natural-shaped nails are still in fashion in life. Therefore, if you are not going to the carnival, but to work, give up fancy shapes (square, triangular, etc.). Ideal: the free edge of the nail follows the shape of the bed.
How to achieve smooth lines? Choose a soft file with the finest abrasive particles. Move it in one direction, so you will avoid splitting nails. Never file your nails on the sides. It is better to give them a shape immediately with tweezers, and then slightly file the free edge. If your nails are flaking, just trim them.
3. We take care of the cuticle
If you’ve had a bad manicure experience, your cuticle will likely grow unevenly. To avoid such problems in the future, do a good manicure once, and then start using special emollients. Apply them to the cuticle and slide. So you can slow down the growth of the cuticle and keep your manicure in perfect condition for a long time.
On a note: make it a rule to do a light massage every time you apply hand cream. Stroke the skin of the hands on both sides, stretch your fingers, moving from the tips to the wrists. Don’t forget your elbows! When making a massage, you will quickly notice how the skin becomes softer, wrinkles disappear, fingers become more graceful, and nails acquire a beautiful natural shade and shine.
