Dealing with an expert, which nails are currently at the height of fashion – short or long? Bright or nude? We choose ourselves and advise you.
Beauty expert and OPI technologist Lilia Zaripova believes that the main thing in manicure this year is naturalness and naturalness.
– As for the length of the nails, they should be as short as possible. The admissible length of the free edge is 2-3 mm, the expert continues. – It is also very practical: with such nails it is convenient to type on the keyboard and use gadgets with a touch screen. The fashionable shape of the nails assumes smooth lines. It could be wide or narrow oval, almond or rounded square… Nails that look unnatural, very long or sharp are not trendy. The form of stilettos is not at all relevant.
Support the trend of naturalness will help nude shades… They will go with any outfit and will be appropriate both in the office and out of it. But if you want brightness, then you can choose fiery, red or yellow colors. Pink and blue are also trending.
Fashionable nail art implies graphicity. It can be clean lines, geometric patterns or simply color blocking… You can also decorate your nails with glitter, rhinestones, or choose a metallic decor.
Nude shades. They should match your skin tone – choose which one you have: warm or cold, and then choose nude. But remember that it should not be too thick – it is better if the coating is translucent than “putty”.
Form. Here, too, you need to proceed from the physiological characteristics of the hands – almond-shaped fingers will visually lengthen, they will look thinner and more graceful. Remember the main rule of a good manicure: the longer the nail, the paler the coating.
Color… Remember color combinations (google “color wheel”). You can also mix textures now – for example, matte nude underlay and gold metal holes or nail tips. And remember: no more than three colors in a manicure!
French. For many seasons, the tips of nails can be not only white – red, azure and blue look no less stylish. In the summer of 2017, designers often add decor to them at the base of the nail – rhinestones or triangles.
