Unique Show Fall / Winter 2013/14
One of the most interesting makeup options for the fall-winter 2013/14 season is blue eyeshadow. Moreover, the shades of heavenly color on the catwalks were completely different: from pastel to neon. The most successful examples are the shows by Unique and Jason Wu.
Makeup artists suggest applying shadows to the upper and lower eyelids. In this case, the eyes should become the only accent in the makeup. For lips, it is better to choose light pink or powdery lipstick or gloss tones. How to repeat a similar image of models from Fashion Week, you can see on the website of the L’OrealParis brand.
First, L’Oreal Paris makeup expert Karim Rahman draws clear lines on the lower and upper eyelids of the model with a blue pencil, which he then shades with a brush. Then he paints the eyes with a blue pencil, again shading it, Karim then uses the pads of his fingers to apply cream shadows to the upper eyelid. To make the look more expressive, the specialist applies a white liner to the inner eyelid, which Karim used to draw the contour of the lips. But before that, he applied a pink gloss to his lips.
Blue shadows are often chosen by many Hollywood celebrities for social events. Using their example, you can determine which color type is best suited for a certain shade of heavenly color.
For example, Nicole Ricci (a brown-haired woman with dark skin and brown eyes) prefers azure tones; Sandra Bullock (brunette with brown eyes), Megan Fox (brunette with blue eyes) and Sarah Jessica Parker (blonde with gray eyes) often appear in public with blue-gray eye makeup; but the young blonde Cara Delevingne can afford bright turquoise shadows.
