From Krasnaya Gorka, which this year falls on April 26, the wedding season opens. So, it’s time to think about a wedding bouquet.
According to the international portal FloraCulture International, the favorite of 2009 in wedding floristry is the lily. This flower is considered a symbol of purity and chastity. In addition, lilies come in a wide variety of colors and textures, which means that one bouquet will not be similar to another. This will especially delight those brides who prefer a bright traditional white fluffy dress. Plus, lilies are on sale all year round.
High varieties (there are those whose stems reach 1,5 meters) are recommended to be used to decorate a festive interior.
As for the pistils, the pollen of which can easily stain a wedding dress, the problem is solved simply: when making a bouquet, they are simply removed.
Despite its “royal” origin, this flower is absolutely undemanding to care for. Lilies stay in a vase for up to 10 days, and you only need to change the water from time to time.
And if you don’t like the stuffy smell of lilies, which, by the way, can give you a headache – choose Asian hybrids, they almost don’t smell.
