Fashion makeup: Dolce & Gabbana 2013

The make-up of the models from the Dolce & Gabbana show for the fall-winter 2013/14 season can be called one of the most striking and memorable. Pat McGrath, Creative Advisor for Dolce & Gabbana Make Up, shared how to replicate this look yourself.

The inspiration for the Dolce & Gabbana Fall / Winter 2013/14 collection for Domenico and Stefano was the Cathedral in Montreal. Therefore, the image of the models on the catwalk was designed in a luxurious aristocratic style. Fashionable autumn makeup from the brand looks like this: black arrows, wide eyebrows, red lips. To replicate this makeup, Pat McGrath, Creative Advisor for Dolce & Gabbana Make Up, recommends using the PerfectMatteConcealer for the eye contour and the PerfectMatteLiquidFondation for the face first. After you achieve a perfectly even complexion, proceed with eye makeup. Pat first outlined the line of the arrow on the upper eyelid with light strokes in black pencil, and then traced it with black liquid eyeliner. To accentuate the brows, McGrath recommends using the brown Desertquad Eyeshadow Palette. At the same time, she advises not to be afraid to draw a line where there is no hair: the eyebrows should be wide! For a dramatic look, apply black volume mascara to your lashes. Now you can proceed to the main accent of the image – lip makeup. For him, Pat used a ruby-colored pencil and matte lipstick of the same tone. By the way, the specialist advises to apply lipstick with fingertips. This technique will help to avoid the feeling of too much product on the lips. Finally, McGrath applied some PerfectFinishPowder to her face to help set her makeup.
