But another girl almost lost her life due to her own inattention. British student Emily Pankhurst simply forgot about the tampon inside herself and went with it for 9 days!
The girl justifies her forgetfulness by nervous preparation for exams. Emily was so immersed in the study material that she forgot to even eat. But when the girl was worried about severe pain in the lower abdomen, Emily sounded the alarm.
With severe blood poisoning, Emily was taken to intensive care. Thanks to good doctors and antibiotics, the forgetful student’s life was saved.
