Faringosept is a drug used as an aid in acute infections of the mouth and throat: tonsillitis, gingivitis, stomatitis, as well as after tonsillectomy and tooth extraction. The active substance of the drug is ambassador, which has a disinfecting and antibacterial effect. The preparation is in the form of tablets and is dispensed without a prescription.

Faringosept is an antiseptic with a disinfecting and antibacterial effect.

Faringosept indications and dosage

Faringosept is recommended for taking:

  1. in acute infections of the mouth and throat,
  2. in tonsillitis,
  3. in gingivitis,
  4. in stomatitis,
  5. after tonsillectomy,
  6. after tooth extraction.

Dosage

Faringosept comes in the form of lozenges. Use the drug as directed and do not exceed the dose, as it may endanger your life or health. The tablets should be taken 15-30 minutes after a meal, 2-3 hours after use, do not eat or drink.

  1. Orally, suck slowly 3-5 tablets / day for 3-4 days.

Faringosept and contraindications

The only contraindication to taking Faringosept tablets is hypersensitivity to any component of the preparation.

Faringosept – warnings

  1. Faringosept should not be taken by diabetics because it contains sucrose (759 mg in 1 tablet).
  2. The preparation should not be used by people with lactose intolerance, due to its content (150 mg in 1 tablet).
  3. In pregnant and breastfeeding women, the drug should be used only after consulting a doctor and if necessary.

Faringosept with other drugs

There is no information on the use of Faringosept with other medicines.
