Indications for use of the drug Fanipos

Fanipos is prescribed to patients suffering from seasonal or chronic rhinitis, as well as allergic conditions of the upper respiratory tract. The active substance of the preparation is fluticasone – an organic chemical compound used in the symptomatic treatment of rhinitis. Fanipos is available from pharmacies with a prescription in the form of a nasal spray.

Fanipos – dosage

  1. Adults and children over 12 years of age: it is recommended to use Fanipos in two doses in each nostril once a day, preferably in the morning (total daily dose 200 µg). In some situations your doctor may recommend two doses in each nostril twice a day (total daily dose 400 µg). When you feel better, as a maintenance dose, your doctor may prescribe one dose in each nostril once a day (total daily dose 100 µg). If symptoms recur, the dose can be increased again. Do not use more than four doses in each nostril a day (400 µg daily).
  2. Children 4-11. from the age of years: it is recommended to use one dose in each nostril once a day, preferably in the morning (total daily dose 100 µg). In some situations your doctor may recommend one dose in each nostril twice a day (total daily dose 200 µg). Do not use more than two doses in each nostril a day (200 µg daily).

Fanipos and contraindications

Contraindication to the use of Fanipos is hypersensitivity to any component of the preparation and age under 4 years of age. Additionally, you should always try to use the lowest dose of Fanipos that ensures effective symptom control.
