2020 was especially difficult for Christina Perry and her husband Paul. The couple does not succeed in becoming parents – all their attempts end tragically.

For five years now, Christina has been living with reporter Paul Costabilo, whom she married at the end of 2017, shortly before the birth of her first child, daughter of Carmella.
Last fall, the couple decided to become parents again. Alas, then their attempt ended in tragedy. On January 10, 2020, Perry lost her baby while she was 11 weeks pregnant. She was to have a daughter.
The lovers did not dwell on what had happened and tried to conceive a child again.
Fearing a repetition of the sad scenario, Christina and Paul announced that they were expecting a baby again when the young woman had already begun the second trimester of her term.
On November 11, approximately 30 weeks pregnant, Perry was admitted to the hospital. As it turned out, due to complications of the fetus.
The expectant mother actively told followers about her health and explained in detail that her future daughter needed an urgent operation. Doctors in utero diagnosed in the baby atresia of the small intestine – congenital intestinal obstruction.
This diagnosis occurs in about one in 5-10 thousand babies. It requires surgical intervention – the operation should be performed on the first day after the birth of the child. Otherwise, the baby will immediately start intoxication, which can be fatal.
Apparently, the condition of the future daughter of the star was especially alarming, because the doctors decided to cause Christina to give birth. Alas, they failed to save the baby’s life. On November 24, the star announced on her microblog that her daughter “was born silent after struggling hard to get into this world.”

Perry posted a picture in which she and her husband are holding on to the tiny hand of a dead girl. In the signature, the singer admitted that the last few weeks were extremely difficult for her and her husband.
The couple decided not to disclose what exactly happened to their girl – whether the doctors had time to try to perform an operation on her, or whether she suddenly died without a chance to receive any treatment. Only one thing is clear – having access to progressive methods of medicine, Christina and Paul hardly expected such an outcome of the situation.
