Also in the composition there is denatured alcohol, which helps to maintain the stability of the formula and refreshes the face, and allantoin, which is obtained from comfrey root and soothes the skin. Initially, I was confused by denatured alcohol, since I have dry skin and I was afraid that using such a tonic might aggravate the situation.

After the first application, I was surprised, the tonic really refreshes, but does not tighten or dry it, and nothing at all, except for cleansing and lightness, appears. Isn’t that happiness? The product gently cleanses the skin and reduces the oily sheen, which can appear in a person with normal skin after a long day at work. I use toner in the evening, after cleansing my skin and before applying the skincare product, and in the morning before starting my makeup. I can’t say that this product cleanses the pores, just because I have no problem with it. Matte and fresh skin is the result of Kiehls, Rare Earth pore refining tonic, so this tonic stays on my shelf to serve faithfully.

But the smell of the product is not for everybody. Its main ingredients are extracts of cucumber, seaweed, radish and oats. This whole mix is ​​what Botanical Makeup Remover smells like.

It may be time to rethink your attitude towards cleansers and toners and find their place among the rest of the skin care products.

In general, the product is quite gentle, copes with its task and, surprisingly, does not cause irritation. For those who like to use tonics, I can recommend this product. It is really not bad, and the price is very reasonable, especially in this difficult period of the crisis.

In general, frankly speaking, there are a lot of promises.

Reality: moisturizes the tonic really five-plus. After washing, I applied it with a cotton pad. The skin is almost baby-like to the touch. However, some unusual sensation remained on it: as if there was a film on the skin, a little stickiness. A few hours later, red dots appeared on my face. It looks like Skin Ceuticals Equalizing Toner is contraindicated for my reactive skin. However, I am in no hurry to get rid of it. I will try to use the remedy in the summer. Perhaps the result will be different. In the spring, my skin is generally unbearable.

After use, not a single new pimple jumped up, no irritation appeared. I think this is the main criterion in the selection of cosmetics. The only thing that confused me was the price. It seems unreasonable to give 3 thousand rubles for a completely ordinary tonic. Personally, I can easily get by with lavender hydrolate for 200 rubles.

Perfectly prepares the skin for the application of the cream, which is very well distributed and absorbed after using the toner. The rendered effect in my case completely coincided with the manufacturer’s description. I apply the toner twice a day: in the morning after washing and in the evening. I always use a cream after tonic. The only thing I didn’t notice was the pore narrowing. But I noticed their significant cleansing.
