Plastic massage is best left to a professional.

Massage according to the Deryabin method

This massage combines both cosmetic care and relaxation, many elements of a variety of manual techniques and traditions are involved. Massage is carried out after applying the cream to the sounds of nature – for example, the chirping of birds, the noise of foliage or the surf.

Plastic massage technique

Any massage begins with the activation of lymph flow. If you intend to do self-massage, first of all read our article on lymphatic drainage.

It should also be taken into account that plastic facial massage is effective precisely in professional performance, because its technique includes hundreds of movements that are selected and combined individually. But basic manipulations can be learned to do at home.

Massage is done after applying oil or fat cream, of course, only after complete make-up removal and cleansing. Important: the area of uXNUMXbuXNUMXbthe eyelids in home massage is not affected. Below is a description of plastic facial massage adapted for self-practice.

Surface kneading

With smooth, slightly pressing movements, knead the lateral segments of the neck, from top to bottom, to activate blood and lymph flow. While maintaining pressure, carefully go over the face with both hands, as if you want to gently smooth the face from the center to the periphery:

  1. cheeks (lower and upper part) – from the middle to the ears;

  2. bridge of the nose (with the capture of the eyebrows) – from the middle to the temples;

  3. forehead – from the center to the temples, then to the ears and down, along the neck to the supraclavicular cavities.

Repeat 5-6 times, gradually increasing the pressure. There shouldn’t be any pain.

deep kneading

The same areas of the face are actively worked out with strong fingers, in circular motions, always along the massage lines – from the center to the edges. Thus, both skin and muscles are toned. Finish kneading by working the area under the chin and neck.

You can increase the load by working with the phalanges of the fingers, slightly grabbing the skin with them, producing light pinches. In this case, the direction of movement always remains the same.

Vibration

The final technique is to alternate and quickly pat your fingers on your face, as if you are “whipping” the skin:

  1. cheeks (first one, then the other) – from the bottom up, towards the ears;

  2. under the chin;

  3. forehead – from the center to the temporal region.

Finish the procedure with smooth sliding strokes of the face from the center to the periphery.

Do not forget that after any massage you need to wash your face again. Our test will help you choose the right cleanser for your skin.

What result can be expected from the procedure

It should be noted right away that massage by a beautician and self-massage are different things, both in terms of result and technique. After a course of massage by a professional, the face really becomes more compact, “chiselled”, swelling disappears, the length and depth of the folds decrease. The skin becomes smooth, radiant, the complexion improves.

Home self-massage will also benefit:

  • increase the tone of the skin and muscles;

  • activates lymphatic drainage and blood circulation;

  • increase the effectiveness of cosmetics applied after the massage;

  • will improve your mood, because it is so pleasant to create beauty with your own hands.
