If your face is sunburned or has spots from an unevenly applied self-tanner, bruises, etc., you need a liquid concealer.

It can be mixed with the main tone for an even complexion.

Oil correctors have a denser consistency and perfectly mask local defects – redness, dark circles under the eyes, pigmentation. It is applied to cleansed skin and shaded with an applicator or fingertips.

Pencils-correctors for the face have a firm consistency. They are used to mask freckles, pimples and marks from them. They should be applied pointwise, to the place that differs in color from the main tone.

Color correctors for the face: how to use

Manufacturers produce palettes of color correctors for the face. How to use them depends on what shade the skin has in the place of the defect that you want to hide, the laws of color apply here. With a green face corrector, you can mask red spots – postoperative scars, pimples, abrasions. Yellow spots and general yellowness of the face will be eliminated by a lavender shade corrector, pink-purple. Purple-blue, on the other hand, is designed to mask brown spots – the consequences of improperly applied self-tanning or just an uneven tan.

Use cotton swabs or applicators to mask blemishes, acne, and inflammation. For such defects, correctors are intended, which include bactericidal and anti-inflammatory substances.

Residual yellowness from a bruise that has come down can be eliminated with a pink corrector. If you are concerned about how to use a concealer to mask under-eye circles, try applying a liquid orange concealer to this area of ​​the face. But a more pronounced blue, for example, a bruise, will be hidden by a yellow shade corrector.

Basic rules for using face correctors

Before applying correctors, the skin must be moisturized so that they lie down more evenly and can be more easily shaded.

Color, liquid and oil correctors should be applied before you apply the main tone, but beige correcting pencils are applied over the main tone.

So that when masking large defects the corrector is not noticeable on the skin, the liquid correcting agent can be mixed with the main tone and the complexion will be even.

Mask freckles and small age spots with light point touches with a corrector pencil. You don’t need to shade them.
