You can shine with joy, but you can also after applying cosmetic masks that are beneficial for the skin. But first, make a choice which one you prefer, homemade or store bought.
What is a healthy radiance of the skin of the face
So, in order for the skin to reflect light, like a mirror, its surface must be even and smooth. Let’s first find out what flaws prevent her from glowing, and only then we will eliminate them with the help of masks – homemade or ready-made.
dead cells
They are also to blame for flaking with dry skin, and for the grayish coating characteristic of oily skin. In both cases, the accumulation of keratinized cells causes an uneven relief and prevents the reflected light rays from “illuminating” the epidermis. You can read more about how to properly exfoliate your skin here.
wrinkles
Even at a young age, dehydration causes the appearance of fine grooves that prevent light from reflecting evenly. Dryness is another reason for dull skin.
Pimples and post-acne scars
Irregularities on the skin give rise to a play of light and shadow – unfortunately, not in favor of radiance.
Pigmented spots
“Dark objects absorb light, so excessively tanned or pigmented skin does not have a healthy glow,” says Ekaterina Turubara, Vichy expert.

What are instant glow masks?
Two types of masks give the skin a radiant look in one application.
Masks with a specific set of ingredients give the skin an instant radiance
Exfoliating or renewing
Such masks are based on the action of acids, which help to free the skin from a layer of dead cells. Together with acids (or instead of them), scrubbing particles are included in the composition, which mechanically remove dead skin cells from the skin and polish it.

How to improve the effectiveness of masks for skin radiance
The mask provides intensive care, but in order to reveal all its talents, you need to create certain conditions. First of all, prepare the skin.
1. Clean well
The skin must be spotlessly clean: the fewer obstacles between the skin cells and the mask, the better.
2. Exfoliate
Exfoliation enhances the effectiveness of any skincare. However, you should not additionally scrub the skin if polishing particles are present in the mask.
3. Steam out
Steaming your face first will open up your pores and help the mask work more effectively. How to steam your face is written here.
4. Apply in a thick layer
Several layers of the mask will provide a “film” effect.
5. Relax
Modern masks are good because they do not interfere at all with doing their own business during the procedure. True, it’s better to lie down for 10 minutes to completely relax, as it should be during a spa session. Relaxation is good for both nerves and skin.
6. Keep timing
