Eyeliner pencil. Instructional video
Beautifully lined eyes can literally transform the appearance of a girl or woman. With the help of the arrows, the eyes can be made bigger and more expressive, emphasizing their unique individuality. If you want to do your makeup quickly, it is better to use a pencil instead of a liquid eyeliner. The latter requires certain skills, after application it dries up, as a result of which the drawn line is difficult to correct.
Step 1: getting started with eyeliner
An eye liner is a great tool for creating daytime makeup. The drawn lines are bright enough and at the same time not aggressive. With it, you can correct the shape of your eyes or even completely change it. First of all, decide what color the pencil should be. For a discreet daytime make-up, a neutral color is ideal – brown or gray. However, this is not a prerequisite, you can use black, green, purple, blue or any other color that you like best.
The main thing – do not forget that makeup and your image as a whole should be in harmony with this shade.
Choose a suitable pencil and sharpen it. This will give you a sharper and smoother line of the desired width. Before you start drawing, lightly powder your eyelids – this will make your makeup last much longer.
Step 2: draw your eyes with a pencil
So, how to correctly draw your eyes with a pencil. Using your fingers, gently pull the upper eyelid, and then use a pencil to mark points along the intended line. Connect the dots with small strokes. Line your eyes directly above the lash line. Apply short strokes to the eyelid, then drawing space between them. Once you learn this kind of eyeliner pencil, over time you will be able to draw a line with one confident movement. If you do not have the skill yet, it is better to draw the outline with strokes – in case of failure, it will be much easier for you to correct a single stroke than an entire arrow drawn.
Before purchasing a contour pencil, try drawing a line with a tester. Make sure that the pencil is of medium hardness and the line is clear, even, without splashes or breaks
Draw a line from the inner corner of the eye to the outer corner. At first, it should be thinner, but gradually become somewhat wider. Do not forget to slightly pull the eyelid slightly to the side with your finger – this way the line will lie more evenly. If you’re worried about ruining your makeup, you can paint the arrow with shadows. It will be easier to shade and hide blemishes.
Now that you know how to use eyeliner correctly, all you have to do is put your skill into practice. Over time, the line you draw will get smoother, and it will take very little time.
