Eyelash extension: reviews, consequences, photos before and after

– I have never done myself a build-up. It always seemed to me that this procedure is one of those that can be omitted. But lately, extensions have become fashionable, and I’m also tired of my waterproof mascara. It’s so great when your eyelashes are so good that you don’t have to dye them at all! In general, I went for testing, full of enthusiasm.

Expectation: I’ve seen a lot of girls with false eyelashes, and, as a rule, I didn’t really like the result. The eyes looked very defiant and cow-like after the careless work of the master. I just wanted to slightly increase the emphasis on the eyes, so I asked my specialist to increase the length of my eyelashes, but so that no one would guess that I had ever done the extension procedure.

Reality: I came across just a wonderful specialist, perhaps one of the best. Elena Sitnikova is not just a master, but also a person who teaches other people. She had seen a lot of clients, and therefore knew what I needed, even better than myself. To my request – to make the eyelashes long, but natural, she reacted with understanding and even approval. We chose thin lashes, and not black, but brown. In my case (light brown hair), they should have looked natural.

The procedure lasted about 2,5 hours. Completely painless and very meditative. They say that many sleep during the extension, but I had no time for sleep. Elena gave a fascinating lecture on eyelashes and their care. As a result, I learned that …

– after the procedure, my eyelashes will not fall out;

– false eyelashes should not be taken care of, being afraid to wash themselves again, but rinse twice a day so that dirt and grease do not accumulate;

– eyelashes hold for everyone in different ways, depending on the characteristics of the body (especially – metabolism);

– you can do extensions for many years, but it will not ruin the eyelashes. The main thing is that the procedure is done according to technology;

– if necessary, the master should remove the eyelashes;

– if after a week or two a clump suddenly falls out, which spoils the whole view, you need to come for a correction. Everything will be fixed.

Rating: 10 out of 10. The eyes began to stand out. Due to the “fox effect” (at the outer ends, the eyelashes are specially made a little longer than the others), the outer edges of the eyes have visually risen. I, no doubt, was pleased with the result.

– My eyelashes are pretty light, so I always paint them with mascara to make my eyes visible.

Expectation: I hope that after building up I can do without the daily ritual at the dressing table and give my eyes a little rest in terms of cosmetics.

Reality: This is my first procedure of this kind, and I counted on the time for 1-1,5 hours. In reality, it turned out that to glue an average of 200 cilia, the master needs 2-2,5 hours. Extension is definitely for the patient, because not everyone can lie silently with their eyes closed and not fall asleep. Although, as the master admitted, many clients often fall asleep during the first hour of the procedure.

The buildup was done by a very skilled and sensitive master. The cosmetologist was able to lucidly tell about the essence of the procedure, contraindications and dispel my doubts. In addition to the inevitable duration, the build-up did not cause any inconvenience. The master warned that the next morning the eyes might be a little swollen, but fortunately, my body did not seem to even notice a few hundred additional cilia and did not react to it in any way. The next morning I got up fresh and well-groomed with playfully curled lush lashes. And outwardly, I was very pleased with the result, the dark brown eyelashes look very natural, the eyes have become more expressive without makeup, and now in the morning I spend noticeably less time on make-up, despite the fact that the overall image has been preserved.

Evaluation: 10 of 10. The assessment can be given both to the master himself and to the salon. After the visit, there were only pleasant impressions from the procedure and from my new eyelashes.

– I have beautiful and long eyelashes by nature. I can calmly not paint them with ink and feel beautiful. But still I decided to get acquainted with the build-up. Several of my friends do the procedure regularly and are very satisfied. Eyelashes no longer need to be painted with mascara, and a girl in such outfit cannot be taken by surprise even in the middle of the night. Sounds tempting to me …

Expectation: I was preparing that it would be hard for me to open my eyes, that I would not be able to sleep in my favorite position and I would forget about the pressure of water in the shower. But most of all I was afraid that after this experiment I would lose 50% of my eyelashes! Fortunately, I got to a sensitive master who was ready to answer any of my questions, and there were a lot of them, believe me. Well, I love how I should first study the issue in order to clearly understand the process, the result and the possible consequences.

Julia Kryuchkova is a master with many years of experience, and this fact calmed me down, and when the master told all the subtleties, I relaxed and at some point even fell asleep right on the couch. It was very funny and a little awkward, but it turned out like magic: I fell asleep … and woke up as a beauty with lush eyelashes.

Reality: this beauty lasted for a whole month. Even when I returned to the master to do the removal, the look of the eyelashes was quite decent. For all the time, problems with sleeping and taking a shower also did not arise, oddly enough. As for the state of my cilia, then a surprise awaited me too. All of them remained in place, however, they became straight for some time, but after a week they acquired their original appearance. All thanks to the use of castor oil. It can be applied daily before going to bed, then the recovery process will be much faster.

Evaluation: Julia is a master of her craft and definitely deserves the highest mark 10 of 10.
