Permanent makeup is becoming more and more popular, because it allows women to save a lot of time and look spectacular at any time of the day. One of the most popular procedures is eyebrow tattooing.
Before deciding on a trip to a beautician for eyebrow tattooing, women are usually interested in how it is done. And not in vain, because this is a responsible procedure, the result of which is visible for several years later. In addition, permanent makeup performed by an unskilled craftsman can damage the hair follicles, and they will no longer grow.
On the eve of the permanent make-up procedure, do not pluck your eyebrows, and also give up alcohol, coffee, Coca-Cola, aspirin, blood thinners and seafood
Permanent eyebrow makeup is performed using different techniques, and the master invites the client to choose one of them:
- Hair to hair. This type of tattoo is best suited for women with dark eyebrows. During the procedure, additional hairs are drawn, and the eyebrows visually become thicker and brighter, and their lines are generally more accurate and expressive.
- “Soft shading”. This method is usually used for light and sparse eyebrows to make them clearer and more expressive. In this case, the pigment is applied as if a solid line, and the eyebrow looks tinted with shadows or a pencil
- “Pencil Effect Technique”. The master draws a clear line by applying pigments with a thin needle. In this case, the eyebrows look unnatural, so this method is rarely used.
Before the procedure, the specialist, after consulting with the client, selects the most suitable paint color. Shades can be varied – from light gray-brown to reddish and dark. Usually the dye is taken a shade darker, because after a while the pigments under the skin lose their brightness and become somewhat lighter.
Black pigment is not used in tattooing in order to avoid a bluish tint of the eyebrows. To make a color close to black, brown, gray and olive shades are mixed
If you are not satisfied with your eyebrow shape, the master can choose for you the one that most favorably emphasizes your advantages. He will outline the eyebrow with a pencil so that you can approve the chosen shape and see in advance how you will look with the tattoo.
First, the skin is cleansed and sterile. Local anesthesia is performed. After that, the master begins to apply strokes on the eyebrow in the direction of hair growth using the technique chosen by the client. The dye is injected under the skin to a depth of 0,8 to 1,5 mm, which is less than with a conventional tattoo. The procedure usually takes no more than an hour.
Be prepared for the fact that after leaving the beautician’s office, the skin will look reddened, and the color of the eyebrows is too saturated. The specialist will recommend a special cream for protection before going outside and for faster healing. A thin crust may form and should not be touched. After a week and a half, the skin will heal and you can see the final result.
It happens that soon after applying the permanent, a correction is required if there was a master’s mistake or the client’s skin rejection of the coloring pigment. A properly executed permanent using quality materials lasts 3-5 years on average.
