– How glad I am, how happy I am that several seasons ago, world makeup artists came to the conclusion that eyebrows are a trend. Natural, with a beautiful shape and sufficient density (do you still remember the trend of the early 2000s?). I can say for sure that if you have not studied to become a master brow artist, you will never be able to create your ideal shape, so I encourage all my girlfriends to go to trendy and at the same time affordable Brow bars.

Expectations: once upon a time I was at the reception of a beautician (if you remember, they used to pluck and dye eyebrows in beauty salons). A wonderful master decided that the eyebrows were needed thinner and shorter … So began my three-year struggle for the length of the eyebrows.

Reality: Master Dina! This is the master, looking at whose eyebrows I realized: what you need! Dina has very beautiful and well-groomed eyebrows, so I trusted her without fear. “Browist” told me where to grow, what a “palm” (long hairs at the beginning of the eyebrow) is and what tools will help to grow perfect eyebrows. By the way, as it turned out, promoted castor oil is not as effective in hair growth as usma oil! This was a real discovery for me. It turns out that baldness is treated with this oil in Arab countries!

I don’t like dyeing eyebrows with paint, because it disappears from the eyebrows after a few days. Dina spent half an hour creating the perfect shape, correcting and looking closely at my facial expressions, and then applied henna for 5 minutes. After the artist washed off the paint, the final touches were made and almond oil was applied. It is not recommended to wash my face within 24 hours: I was ready for this and came without makeup. As a result, you can forget about pencils, markers, shadows and all kinds of eyebrow makeup products for two weeks! Cool!

We agreed with Dina not to touch some places with tweezers in order to improve the shape. By the way, the salon is within walking distance from the Kitay-Gorod metro station – 2-3 minutes at a slow pace, and the car, if anything, can be parked in a nearby yard. Smiling staff and a bright room – isn’t that what Brow Bar should look like?

– My beauty rules have been verified by time and experience: with a manicure-pedicure – no independence, only to a master, depilation – by a beautician, periodic cleansing and face masks – in a professional office, hair – exclusively in a good salon. But there was no particular attention to the eyebrows – once every six months I ran into the brow-bar to have my shape corrected, and then at home I removed the extra hairs with tweezers and tinted them with shadows every day. That’s the whole care. But now everything will be different.

Expectations: Thank God, by nature I have my own beautiful eyebrow shape – thanks to my mother. Hair does not stick out, grows where necessary. But it’s a natural law to want what you don’t have. I dreamed of wide “sable” eyebrows with clear boundaries, which would also look natural. This is the request I addressed to the master Anastasia in the Manicuroff salon. And she invited me to build them up. I really wanted to try this procedure.

“It’s not worth it,” Nastya objected mildly. – The build-up lasts only a few days, and the process takes a long time. It makes sense to do it by some important date, otherwise just waste your money. ” And, noticing the shadow of disappointment on my face, she promised: “Do not worry, we will do what you want.” And we started.

Reality: first, Nastya gave my eyebrows a beauty procedure – she cleansed the skin, applied a mask. Along the way, she complained that the girls pay little attention to this area, and the eyebrows need to be looked after in the same way as the eyelashes and hair. For example, lubricate them with oil to make your eyebrows look well-groomed and shiny. Regularly remove regrown hairs and correct shape imperfections with a pencil or shadows. At the same time, the master says, one cannot overdo it.

“Here you have a fluff above your eyebrow. Many people strive to remove it completely, without thinking that it looks unnatural. We have soft blonde hairs on the face, and if you remove them around the eyebrow, it will be too deliberate accent. “

Nastya is my separate discovery and delight. He holds the brush as if he is not drawing a new eyebrow shape for me, but creating a masterpiece on canvas. At the same time, it is clear that she just gets high on what she does. Therefore, I calmly surrendered myself into her hands and allowed to do whatever she saw fit.

As a result, the master chose not paint, but henna – she says that it holds even better than chemical pigment, but at the same time takes care of the hairs, as a result, the eyebrows look well-groomed and healthy. As a bonus, they also grow thicker.

I sat with paint for about 15 minutes. Time flew by unnoticed: the salon was made in the style of a chic boudoir with huge gilded mirrors, chandeliers, the spring sun was beating in the window – a girl’s paradise is simple! I blinked contentedly while Nastya plucked the extra hairs. Yes, yes, with a slight movement of her hand, she removed them so that it did not hurt me at all.

When the paint was washed off, I saw a new myself – Cara Delevingne would be envious! The paint will stay on the skin for about a week, and on the hairs for about a month. During this time, I am going to grow the unworthy on a new contour – I will do my best to rub oil into my eyebrows.

Evaluation: 10 out of 10. I receive compliments from all sides, so I am absolutely happy with the result.

Where: Salon Wax & Go, Malaya Bronnaya, 14. Working hours – from 10.00 to 22.00.

Expectations: Before visiting the salon, I will not hide, I was a little nervous. I naturally have very wide and bushy eyebrows with a clear shape. Especially for “Wday tests” I did not pluck them out for about a month, to make it easier to evaluate the result of the procedure. I was afraid that too many hairs would be removed, that my gaze would acquire severity and bitchiness, and that my beautiful “Brezhnev” eyebrows would turn into a thread. My requirements were simple: the eyebrows should be neat, have the same shape (which suits me) and be wide, with all this.

Reality: my master was called the beautiful name Venus. And she knew absolutely everything about my fears. She suggested tweaking the eyebrow shade a bit. I was very against it, as the color of my eyebrows suits me perfectly. However, the master persuaded me, saying that the effect of the paint would be minimal. She mixed a light brown and graphite shade, applied it to my “virgin” eyebrows and removed the paint after a minute. Usually, such a composition is kept for about 7 minutes.

After painting, Venus proceeded to the correction. She treated the skin with lotion and applied a special oil to the skin. After that, she carefully applied the wax with a spatula. As Venus explained to me, the stage with oil is needed in order to avoid skin contact with wax and, accordingly, subsequent irritation of the epidermis.

Removing the wax was very painful but bearable. The main advantage is that this method is much faster than the traditional tweezers correction. In addition, the wax removes vellus hairs that give the eyebrows a blurred shape. At my request, Venus raised the “tails” of her eyebrows – thanks to my patient regrowth for a month, it became easier than a lung.

The result amazed and delighted me. The face did not change dramatically, but the eyebrows began to look very well-groomed, they literally became perfect.

The only negative is that I have rather sensitive skin, so the irritation from the wax correction still appeared. After a couple of days it passed, but a slight peeling of the skin began.

Rating: 10 out of 10. The eyebrows remained wide and effective, but they became much more beautiful. I think this is the main merit of an experienced and very tactful master and the Wax & Go salon itself. I would love to repeat this experience.

– I was lucky, by nature I have quite good eyebrows of a beautiful shape. Of course, I can’t boast of its density, but in general everything suits me. The only thing that makes me a little sad is the color. Like any blonde (natural, of course), my eyebrows have a dim shade and fade as soon as the first rays of the sun appear on the horizon. It looks especially funny after visiting some hot country: a beautiful bronze skin tone and absolutely light eyebrows. Therefore, in the spring I begin especially intensive preparation for the summer season, but I did not go further than the correction-tinting of the eyebrows. All the more interesting will be the experiment in the Cruise Beauty salon, where, judging by the reviews, they can make a star out of you no worse than Cara Delevingne!

Expectations: I monitor the condition of my eyebrows, at home I try to correct them with tweezers and periodically rub in oils and other special beauty products to stimulate hair growth and density. However, this is clearly not enough. I really wanted to have beautiful thick eyebrows and surrender to the hands of a professional master who can advise something more interesting than just “coloring” or building.

Reality: the master, casting a cursory glance at me, praised my uniform and immediately announced that we would not paint brightly. But feeling my disappointment, she hastened to add that we are using something better and the result is worth it!

As it turned out, I had to try Sleek Brows’ unique three-dimensional eyebrow shaping technology. Thanks to this method, it is possible to achieve density or improve the shape of the eyebrows by using special synthetic hairs that are attached to their own hairs on the eyebrows. But that later. And first, the master, with the help of tweezers, gave my eyebrows the desired shape (and during the procedure I was asleep, such a light hand was in the “eyebrow”). Then the specialist used a special textured paint, applying it directly to the skin with subtle strokes that simulate the growth of missing hair, which created the effect of ideal thick and voluminous eyebrows. I will say right away that, in principle, this first stage quite suited me – the eyebrows looked so natural that I was literally in seventh heaven with happiness. But an experiment is an experiment, and therefore the second phase, the use of synthetic hairs, I also had to endure. By the way, the effect does not appear immediately, but after some time, so I waited patiently while the master applied the final touches – correcting and changing something, bringing my image to perfection.

After the procedure, I was completely delighted with my reflection in the mirror. The make-up has sparkled with new colors, and in principle, you can not do a bright make-up, you just need to paint over the eyelashes with black ink, and that’s it, you’re ready to go! Moreover, the most pleasant bonus for me was that this eyebrow modeling procedure takes place without disturbing the skin, the paint itself promotes the growth of its own hairs and the effect of voluminous eyebrows can last up to four weeks (depending on the skin type).

Rating: 10 out of 10. I can’t wait for the first correction – I will certainly visit the same master and know that in the upcoming vacation I will look no worse than Cara Delevingne and for the next three weeks I will definitely forget about eyebrow shadow pencils.

– Over the past five years, my eyebrows have gone through something that is scary to talk about. I mocked them as best I could. Well, just over her own, once she showed a master class to her friend, and she, like a naive child, trusted the hands of an amateur. Then it seemed to me that I clearly knew what to do. After that, fortunately, I changed my opinion, albeit by trial and error.

Expectations: having gone to the Mahash salon, I did not expect any radical changes. My form was good, and it would be difficult to change it. Seven months ago I got a tattoo. The effect is already fading away, and therefore the eyebrows needed coloring rather than correction.

Reality: the approach to clients in Mahash salon is serious. Even if you come to do the eyebrow correction, you will be asked to take off all your clothes, put on a snow-white robe and slippers. Then they are taken to a room where it smells insanely delicious with oils, the lights are dim and pleasant music is played. During the procedure, I almost fell asleep, the master did her job excellently. The color of the eyebrows turned out the way I wanted to see him. The shape of the eyebrows, as I said, has practically remained the same. Unfortunately, the effect after staining did not please me for long. All paint washed off in less than a week.

Evaluation: 8 out of 10. I liked the attitude towards customers and the salon itself. I’m not happy that the paint washed off so quickly. I’m not ready to pay for this beauty in 2900 yet. I will find a place where prices are more affordable.

– My first experiment with eyebrows happened when I was a child. Mom, with special enthusiasm, taught me to all kinds of female tricks, although not always skillfully. So it was with her light hand that my eyebrows once became round, and my face took on a … surprised look. It is good that the beautician was able to correct the situation in time. It was then that I realized how much eyebrows mean. You may not have time to make up at all, but if your eyebrows are in order, you will be at your best.

Expectations: the eyebrow shaping procedure is an obligatory exercise for me, which I repeat at least once every two months. I expect accuracy and efficiency from the master. Judging by the reviews, the “Hair Dryer Bar” on Strastnoy Boulevard is just right for me. Reality: morning is not good? But no! If it starts at the “Fen Dry Bar” on Strastnoy Boulevard. The first thing that pleased me on the way to the salon was walking distance from the metro. 3 minutes from the station “Pushkinskaya”, and you are already met by smiling girls at the reception: “Maybe coffee?”

“Of course yes!” – I smile and sit down in one of the chairs in a small room, reminiscent of a girl’s boudoir.

I get a girl named after an Italian superstar. I ask Ornella Sultanova (sorry, not Muti!) To make me traditional eyebrow correction and coloring. Leave the shape the same, but give it clearer contours. The make-up artist waves his tweezers like a magic wand and … Almost for the first time in my life, I don’t blink from the unpleasant sensations while removing hairs. Eyes do not water, but smile from ear to ear – Ornella shares secrets from the category of “last squeak in visage.” 10 minutes, and the eyebrows have already “bristled”. Ornella expertly selects the color for coloring. Then I sip my coffee until the paint sets. A few more minutes, and my eyebrows appeared!

I spend a total of 30 minutes in the chair. They cheered me up, respected me with a fascinating conversation and, of course, made me beautiful.
