Eyebrow shapes for different face types. Video
Beautiful bushy eyebrows are one of the latest fashion trends. However, the approach to the selection of the shape should be carefully, because each type of face requires its own eyebrows.
Eyebrows for a round face
For this type of appearance, fashionable “corner” eyebrows are ideal, forming a piquant tick above the outer corner of the eye. The arch of the eyebrow should be high and the tips can be raised slightly. This shape will stretch the face and make it more proportional. If you have a round face, skip straight and rounded brows.
It is quite simple to choose a place for the “corner”. Attach the pencil to your face so that it touches the wing of the nose and passes through the center of the eye: where the pencil touches the eyebrow, and you need to make a “corner”
Eyebrows for an oval face type
An oval face shape is considered ideal. Eyebrows for this type should be chosen based on the individual characteristics of the appearance. Rounded eyebrows with a slight break will make the face a little wider, and thick straight ones will distract attention from a too high forehead. A heavy chin is balanced by elongated eyebrow tips, and close-set eyes are corrected by an increased eyebrow spacing.
Eyebrows for a square face
A square face requires softening the corners. The classic rounded shape or the brows with a soft break will give a square face a smoother outline. The rise of the arch should be high enough, and the length of the eyebrow itself should be small. Avoid straight brows: they make the forehead shorter and sharp corners sharper.
Eyebrows for rhomboid and triangular face types
Eyebrows with a sharp break will look great on a diamond-shaped face – it will distract attention from the protruding cheekbones. Also, for a diamond-shaped and triangular face, rounded eyebrows in the form of a regular arc are suitable – they will soften a sharp chin and add femininity to the face. But straight eyebrows are contraindicated for these types.
An elongated face does not tolerate too arched, raised eyebrows. The ideal shape is a straight line tapering slightly towards the tip. The eyebrows should be short and spaced as far from the bridge of the nose as possible – this will make the face look wider. Thin eyebrows are contraindicated for an elongated face; if necessary, extend them with a pencil.
Use an eyebrow pencil. It is firmer than regular eye contour and creates a clearer and more natural line
The main tool for shaping eyebrows is tweezers. Pluck eyebrows strictly according to hair growth: first remove the protruding hairs, and then begin to give the desired shape. A pencil will help to bring the eyebrows to perfection and even slightly change their shape. The result is fixed with a special gel, which fixes the hairs and gives them a well-groomed look.
