Before the procedure, apply an ice cube to the skin to reduce soreness. You will need a thread about 40-50 cm long. Fold the thread in half and tie the ends to create a ring of thread. Put it on your hands (similar to how you hold the yarn when winding it into a ball) and start winding the thread with one hand. Make a few turns. You should have something that looks like an inverted hourglass, with a few turns in the middle of the ring.
