Eye Concealer: Application Methods. Video

The right concealer will help you look flawless. There are several types of it: pencil, stick, liquid and creamy. The optimal form of concealer depends on your skin type and the purpose for which you intend to use the concealer.

If you want to mask minor irritations on the skin around your eyes, opt for a concealer stick. It is ideal for spot application. But be careful: if you have especially thin skin around your eyes or have noticeable wrinkles, the rich consistency of the pencil will emphasize this. In this case, you need a liquid or creamy concealer.

The concealer, sold in a tube rather than a stick, does a good job of masking dark circles around the eyes, wrinkles, or age spots. It remains to choose the right color of the product. A pink-orange concealer works well for dark circles, and a product that is lighter than your skin tone can hide wrinkles.

You can freshen up the eye area with a pink concealer, and a yellow concealer can help mask fatigue bruises. You need to hide especially noticeable wreaths using a product with orange pigment.

Any redness – vascular networks or pimples – can be masked with a green corrector. Freckles and age spots are made almost invisible with a blue concealer.
