Exercise 1.
Say words and phrases expressing different feelings in your voice.
- «Open the door!» — angry, sad, joyful, arrogant, irritated, depressed tone.
- «Come!» — with joy, anxiety, contempt, malice, sadness, irritability, resentment.
- «Well done!» — admiringly, surprised, mockingly, indifferently, threateningly.
- «Dinner is served!» — affectionately, surprised, inquiringly, with chagrin, enthusiastically.
Exercise 2.
Read the replicas of literary characters, conveying with intonation and tone the state of mind of the hero, noted by the author.
- “How dare you, insolent, with an unclean snout here muddy my clean drink with sand and silt?” (arrogant indignation)
- «Darling, how pretty! Well, what a neck, what eyes! To tell, so, right, fairy tales! (flattery and subservience)
- “What is Leo to me?! Should I be afraid of him?» (arrogance)
- “And you, friends, no matter how you sit down, you are not good at musicians” (regret, reproach).
Exercise 3.
«Dust flies across the field from the clatter of hooves.» Say it:
- Joyfully, enthusiastically (how beautifully the horses race!)
- Annoyed, dissatisfied (only sprayed)
- Contemptuously (fu! what dust!)
“The crow missed the crow”: with regret, with condemnation, with surprise.
«Weather for tomorrow: significant cloudiness, occasional rain.» Say this phrase for:
- central television announcer;
- a passenger who took a plane ticket (“Eh, I should have taken a train ticket”);
- vacationing on the sea (“You won’t get a tan and you won’t swim, but soon you’ll be home!”);
- an agronomist during the days of a long drought («Finally»);
- who signed up for an interesting excursion for tomorrow (“Will it be canceled or not?”).
Exercise 4.
Express in turn different emotions of a person (joy, sadness, anger, fear, etc.) using facial expressions, gestures and intonation, saying numbers from 1 to 10.
Exercise 5.
How many different interesting intonations can you express with the help of phrases:
