As any woman knows, when at the most inopportune moment a nail breaks, the varnish peels off or is smeared, and a sloppy cuticle spoils the whole manicure. The editorial staff of Woman’s Day found the answer to the question: how to quickly fix an unsuccessful manicure?
Every girl has faced this problem hundreds of times. Except in everyday life, nails tend to break at the most crucial moment – before a party, dinner, a romantic walk and even a wedding!
If there is no beauty salon nearby that you can quickly run into, don’t panic, we have several ways to solve the problem.
So, the first way: always carry a nail file with you. Even if the nail cracks imperceptibly, it can hook on tights or a dress, which will be even more tragedy. File the corner if it is a jacket, or cut it down.
Second method: if today is an important event and there is a fear that the nail will break, purchase glue for artificial nails. He will quickly cope with the task, and for one day your manicure will be saved.
The third option is for those who have a broken nail under the root and must be saved in any way. Remove the covering from the nail and file it down gently. Keep a special “nail silk” at home, or you can take a tea bag and cut out a small square. Apply nail glue and gently lay the square cut out, pressing it firmly. You can repeat this procedure one more time and after buffing the nail down.
After that, you need to apply a base coat and varnish. Such a manicure can last up to 7-10 days.
A lot of work, household chores, and a week after the manicure you notice with horror that you have completely forgotten about your manicure and the cuticle has grown inaccurately, and there is not enough time to redo it.
In this case, you need to purchase a special pencil for removing the cuticle: this tool contains a caring oil that gently pushes the cuticle away. By repeating the procedure every day, you can maintain a perfect manicure for a week.
If there is no pencil, and the manicure leaves much to be desired, you can take an orange stick and apply hand cream on it and push the cuticle aside.
You are going with one hand, and quickly apply varnish with the other, the hand trembled, and you smeared the whole finger.
The easiest way is, of course, to completely repaint the nail, but you can also use a pencil to remove excess polish and a cotton swab dipped in nail polish remover.
There are times when, by an absurd accident, you run out of nail polish remover, and an unpleasant embarrassment has occurred. Then immediately grab a cotton swab and apply any face or nail oil on it. First, carefully remove the drop, and then thoroughly wipe off the remainder.
Also, do not forget about the top coat for varnish, it will quickly dry the manicure and keep it for a long time.
