Vitamin and mineral deficiencies, coupled with frequent vomiting in bulimia nervosa, can also damage teeth and gums that are exposed to stomach acid.

If symptoms are found exposing the necks of the teeth the most important step is to eliminate the causative agents of the disease. It is necessary to give up cigarettes and supplement the deficiencies of vitamins and minerals in the body through appropriate supplementation and healthy diet. Vegetables and fruits as well as healthy fats should be included in the diet. A balanced diet has a positive effect on the condition of the whole organism.

The right thing is very important oral hygiene. Teeth should be brushed at least twice a day, preferably after each meal. Teeth should be brushed with gentle but firm circular and sweeping movements, from the gums to the tooth crown, for a minimum of two minutes at a time.
