The expert works for the group, but in order to do it in the best possible way, he contracts the group to work for himself: he says what he needs from the others, and everyone else works for him. He does not undertake to explain his actions and justify his decisions. If he needs, he sits and thinks silently, if he feels the need, he is interested in the opinion of those whose opinion he needs.
Usually, wise experts even arrange a discussion, where everyone, in an extremely democratic atmosphere, speaks out extremely freely. Does this mean that the expert’s decision will reflect the opinion of the majority? Doesn’t mean at all. He bears his own personal responsibility for his decision, and the opinions of others are only some additional material for him. And why then do we need a discussion, why then this democracy? And then, that in such an environment, people work with great enthusiasm, sometimes expressing truly valuable opinions. Valuable opinions are an expensive product that people give away either for a lot of money or for feeling respected in the process of cheap democratic discussion. Did you understand?
Democracy is just a way without money to pay people for their work in leadership. In this case, their work for you. Long live democracy when everyone works for you!
And at the same time, you remember: «If an expert does not need advice, he does not explain anything to anyone.» With the exception, of course, of the requirements of politeness: one should not irritate the people with complete disrespect either.
