This oil is obtained naturally from the fruit of the red palm. It is cold pressed, so it is not modified in any way. It is poured into dark glass bottles to preserve its positive properties as long as possible. It is produced on ecological farms in Central and West Africa, Indonesia and Malaysia. It contains many useful omega acids and valuable fat-soluble vitamins.
Oil palm, or oil palm, is a source of palm oil. It is produced from the pulp of this plant. The fruits of the oil palm grow in large bunches, look like plums – just like plums, they have a pit inside. They are most often yellowish-orange in color, sometimes even red. Palm oil contains many valuable ingredients, including carotenes, to which it owes its red color.
Properties and application
It is used as a food product because it is free of harmful trans fats and cholesterol. What’s more, it reduces its bad fraction in the body (LDL), while increasing the good one (HDL). In addition, it supports the absorption of nutrients such as vegetable lipokene and beta-carotene. At high temperatures, it does not lose its properties – during baking, frying and cooking, it also retains all the nutrients of the prepared products.
Due to the fact that it is a universal fat, it can be used in the kitchen – for frying, baking, spreading on bread, sauces, baking cakes. It will be a great alternative to olive oil and other cooking oils, because it improves the taste of food and gives the dishes a golden color.
It is also widely used in cosmetics, as it is both a good cosmetic and a medicine. Candles, soap and beauty products are made from it. It makes the skin more elastic, makes it soft and acquires a nice color. In addition, it supports wound healing, treatment of eczema and psoriasis, and protects the body against ultraviolet radiation.
It will be an ideal replacement for traditional fats for people suffering from:
- metabolic disorders,
- skin diseases,
- Heart,
- Diabetes
- neurological diseases,
- Weakened immunity.
