Exercise bands – examples of exercises
Exercise bands provide many training possibilities. Importantly, exercises with rubber bands are suitable for almost everyone, even for people who are just starting their adventure with physical activity. It is enough to properly select the resistance of the tape and the degree of difficulty of the exercises. In addition, training with mini-bands can be easily added to your favorite training. This is a great way to make exercises that are already familiar to us.
When deciding on training from mini-bands we can start with a few simple exercises:
- classic squats with an exercise rubber located above the knees;
- abduction of the leg to the side with the elastic over the ankles in the standing;
- abduction of the leg to the side with the rubber above the knees while kneeling down;
- abduction of the leg to the side with the elastic over the knees in a supine position with bent legs;
- pushing the hips up while lying on the back with bent legs – elastic band over the knees.
But that’s not all. The training can also be done to strengthen the arms, abdomen and even cardio training. Then it is enough to put the rubber on the ankles and make, for example, rompers. For better exercise results, it is worth gradually increasing the resistance of the exercise band. The signal to change is simply greater freedom to perform exercises with a rubber of a given resistance.
