The exercise “My tasks for today are from me, who will be in 10 years” is aimed at developing the fourth position of perception, and comes close to the maximum of life.
Imagine what you will be in 10 years. Where will you live, who will be next to you?
Perhaps it will be a beautiful house on the seashore, where you will sit on the summer veranda and watch the oncoming waves. Your beloved (beloved) will sit next to you, and children / grandchildren will play on the sandy beach.
During these 10 years of your life, you have come a long way, done a lot and achieved a lot. And, now, you are sitting and remembering how 10 years ago you were just starting this path, only thinking about the upcoming prospects. You see yourself, seemingly the same person, but still different, who has yet to begin this movement forward. You are grateful to this person who then decided to take the first step, and then the second, and the third, and as a result brought you here.
You see how he is still so young, appears in front of you, stands and looks at his future, and still does not understand well which way he should go in order to be here in 10 years. You approach him with a smile, stand next to him and gratefully shake his hand, hug him. And then say in a friendly way, “I know what you need to do to come here. It’s not hard at all, you just have to start…»
And what exactly you need to start — decide for yourself. Grab a pen and paper and write down your big decisions that will help you achieve your desired future. Perhaps it will be a list of what you will now begin to do, for example, go to bed on time. Or maybe you will stop doing something, for example, playing computer games. The main thing is that these are specific things that you can start doing tomorrow, or better right now.
Or maybe it will be a list of qualities that you want to develop in yourself. And every day in the evening you will look at this list, and note how responsible, loving, active you were today.
Write down all your thoughts on this subject, and hang a piece of paper in a prominent place so that every day it helps you take a step towards your dream. Reminded you of the desired future that you can now build yourself, every day, adding a new brick.
